For every day you do 15 minutes of any kind of cardio/aerobic exercise, you get 5 virtual points. For every 5 additional minutes you can do, you get 1 point. And for every "out of your usual," different type of aerobic exercise, you get 5 bonus points.

All you have to do is post your minutes, what you did, and keep a tally of your points. Let's see how creative we can be, and how many points we can rack up! But please be safe, sensible, and don't overdo it.

I've posted a template with a reference table at the bottom so you can copy and paste then edit for each days info. and not have to keep coming back to the first post to figure out the points.

Example: Walk 20 min. = 6 pts.
Example: Mambo to music 15 min. = 5+5 bonus pts= 10 total

4-1 walked 120 min = 26 points
4-2 walked 60 min = 14 + 20 ex = 100 + 30 Cardio = 8 = 122 points
4-3 walked 60 min = 14 + 190 Cardio = 48 + 14 = 54 points

Keri, so glad you stopped in. And so sorry to hear of your losses. This has to be difficult for you. I like what FlyLady always says (www.flylady.net), "You're not behind, just jump in where you are." While she uses it for home organization, I think it really applies here just as well.

Don't worry about what you weren't able to do. Just jump in today, and start fresh.

So glad you were able to stop in long enough to post, take care of yourself, and stop in again soon.

Oops, I wasn't as good about this challenge as I should have been. I didn't keep track of my minutes when I did work out. During the last week, we had 2 deaths in our family and the stress from this blew my hard work and resolve out the window.

I like the idea that we can just keep editing all month, makes it easy to see the progress!
4-1 walked 20 minutes: 6 pts.
4-2 walked 57 minutes: 13 pts.
4-3 calisthenics, 30 min: 5+3=8 pts.
dancing (tried son's DancePad, only survived 7
minutes! Legs felt like rubber!) 1+5 bonus=6
total = 8+6=14 pts. today
4-4 walking 30 min.: 5+3=8 pts.
4-5 exercises 20 min: 5+1=6
4-6 walking 20 min: 5+1=6, mini-golf (takes longer of course to wait, only counting the actual movement time) 15 min. 5 bonus+3=8 + 6 walking+14 total for day
