Baby steps love!! It is hard to let go of anything for me but I feel like one little bit at a time will work if I keep it up. The jewelry makings is hardest for me because I love bling (even though I rarely wear jewelry). Finishing a couple of projects will help too.

Oh, Me! Me! Me! I NEED desperately to declutter, not just my craft stuff, but my clothes, my kitchen, EVERYTHING!

But crafting stuff almost paralyzes me... I AM trying to segregate the paper projects from the book projects from the jewelry projects from the paint projects from the...and plastic boxes would help as long as they are CLEAR...and they can't be so large that they are a jumble unto themselves...

Every time they go on sale at Jo-Ann'e I go and look and get excited about breaking free of clutter by organizing, but then reality sets in, and I realize I just need to GET RID of some things!

Yikes! Reality can be a real pain, you know??

I literally have Thousands of 35 mm slides to go and honestly I don't think I ever will. They are going to the attic and my son can deal with it. I have a huge amount of jewelry stuff that is going to our craft sale. I am only keeping a few of the items that I know I will use. So much stuff in both the studio and the shop. Well, soon it will be gone.

I seriously need to declutter, but my strategies are not working.

On my SparkPeople goal board, which I look through everyday, I have written as a goal, "Declutter! Go through one more box or drawer and get rid of it some way." I read this message everyday, have feelings of guilt that I'm not doing it, and think about removing it from my goal board. But it's still there. And my stuff is still there.

I have put a lot of it in plastic tubs like you are going to do, and the trick is to not have too many stacks of plastic tubs! I'm like you -- I'm not ready to totally purge all my stuff yet.

I am trying to rearrange my studio and I must get some of my stuff out of the way. I was going to sell a bunch of it or donate it to Hospice but now I think I will put it in plastic tubs - clearly marked - so I have access when I want to use it.

Does anyone else need to de-clutter. I'd like to know your strategies.
