Well the discipline stuck!!! I started summer about 210 and topped last years active summer with a lot of hiking and climbing with the local walks and gym filling in the slow spots
I found the periods of close monitoring of intake and outtake helped changed many habits and helped eliminate some bad food choices.
I just hope that everyone can find the change of habit sticks with you when you drift off the daily monitoring of food so when you return you can start up where you left it off.

Well that kind of fits todays weather but that is not the point. It's just that I occassionally just tread water till I am recharged.
I was diligent for about 7 months and got where I wanted to go. Thankfully, I managed to keep portion size and menu selection in line for the last 4plus months without diligently weighting and recording everything.
Thanks to losing the pounds I had the best summer I have had in years this last year. I am so looking forward to an even trimmer, happier and more active year this year.
So I guess my point is that even when you lose motivation but maintain the discipline you have been teaching yourself; you can tread water for a while before launching into your next chapter.
See you at the mountains, Pisgah, Alton Baker, the gym or at a local pub rewarding ourselves for a job well done.

It's all good
