I don't get outside much but I heard a mocking bird and groups of geese flying overhead.

We saw the first couple of robins today too! The harbingers of spring, yay!

We have a lot of house sparrows. Also juncos, black-capped chickadees, cardinals, Canada geese, mallard ducks, seagulls.

I read recently that the geese and small birds were starving because the grass should have been uncovered but was still covered with snow. Where I would normally see geese by the dozen there would be a pair along the edge of the road where the snow had exposed a few feet of grass. My BIL from NY State observed today that our ponds are still frozen too. We had huge (8 - 12 foot high) icebergs littering beaches this winter and other weird sights.

Kinds of birds? Doves, pigeons, sea gulls and humming birds. I saw a robin and a blue jay as well earlier. Not sure about the rest, I'm not really a bird watcher
