We're preparing for a vacation in Lake Tahoe this June. I want to be able to walk/hike without struggling to breathe. We're working on losing 10-15 lbs and I'm gradually upping my exercise time. emoticon emoticon

New thread, y'all, for all of us with special events and/or reunions coming up! (Hopefully NOT tomorrow...?) Got to give ourselves TIME to get this done.

WHAT EVENT(S) ARE YOU GETTING IN SHAPE FOR??

My class reunion is September 2014, so I'm getting ready from NOW. I figure I have JUST ENOUGH TIME to do this up right, and pick out the outfit I really want to wear!

Right now, usually I'm doing one or two 10-15 minute workouts per day, or a 25 to 30-minute workout, and I try to do a second of 10 to 20 minutes. Sometimes the second workout happens; sometimes it don't. emoticon One or two days off per week.

I'll be visiting my trainer from time to time, and getting to the gym for group workouts every chance I'm able. Also, participating in different kinds of races and group sports and outdoor fun. This, plus eating healthy, in moderation; getting good sleep; and drinking plenty water!
