My formula for pricing is ((cost of materials) + (time at \$10/hour)) X 2. If I spend 10 minutes making a quick pair of earrings, the price will reflect that, as it will for a more elaborate piece that took several hours. I will tweak this if I think that the price ought to be a bit higher or lower, but that's my basic formula.

What my friends does in PR, is to calculate the costs of the material, and then they multiply that cost by 3, that is , one part for the materials, one part for your job and one part for profit. If they understand is too high, then they play with the profit part. An example, if you make a bracelet and invest 5.00 in materials, so you can sell your bracelet in 15.00, but if you think 15.00 is too much, then you can play with the 5.00 profit part and divide it by 2 (50% profit), by 3 (33% profit), or by 4 (25% profit) Profit can be up to you, but materials and your job is not negotiable. I hope this helps you out, but we can keep seeking information on this. Lovely day and weekend for you!!!
