Cold & rainy day here today....

Got my butt to the gym since I won't be doing my usual walk around the neighbourhood with the pup

& also made a big beautiful salad for lunch (trying to get more fruits & veggies in!)

No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch.

So I've been struggling finding time to do any sort of workout so today after 5 college courses and a lengthy drive home I talked my kids into going to the track. They got bored after about 7 layouts but that's much better then before. They say they want to go more often so it was a success. Plus I managed to drink 9 glasses of water today. Baby steps, but I'll get there... This was a great post to read today, thanks for reminding me it's the small things that add up emoticon

Since the early morning temps (at 3AM) are a little too chilly to walk my doggies, I'll be walking them in the evenings after work.
Instead of staying in bed or getting up and doing nothing I got about 20 minutes of strength training in AND remember my gym shoes so I can go for a walk on my break! woohoo!

Hi ladies, I have been a lurker for a while here and I don't have loads of time to read the forums but today I am feeling frisky! I want to know what all you are doing different today than you have done on all the other days to help you reach your goals.

So today:

I drank only half a cup of my usual coffee in order to cut down on empty calories and my addiction to caffeine.

What about you? Is there some (even very small) thing that you are doing different today than yesterday and all those other days. Small things add up!
