I recommitted to SparkPeople (new name and everything!!). I also set new, realistic goals for myself... including drinking 2 jugs of water, and walking down the stairs at work 3x a day (i'm on the 16th floor). Plus, I'm going for a walk with my friend around the skyway and then after work going to walk on the treadmill. This is going to be a good day!

Here's a new one: Shopped. :D

I bought two pairs of jeans in the next size down. I can get them up and zipped and wore them around the store looking for another style (I don't like boot cut). So in two to three weeks, I'll probably feel good enough in them to wear them for real. That's been my pattern -- once I can get them on, I buy them for motivation. I only do this now because I have a year's history of actually losing the pounds, so I know I'm not doing as I used to do and wasting my money on pants I never actually get into. :D I haven't bought a ton of clothes, but the one thing I do like to do is to have two pairs of jeans in my current size. Then I donate them once I get two sizes below (like, I got rid of my 16s when I could wear 12s comfortably). I honestly think that I have finally bought the size I am likely to stay in when I reach my goal weight.

Also bought a -- gasp!!! -- bathing suit! It has a "swim mini" skirt bottom that is so cute! Hides my elephant-butt-itis. Then a "tankini" top -- full disclosure -- two! So I can switch them out.

First time I've bought a swim suit in a store in ages.

SOOOooo, I am very motivated to go run tomorrow morning!

Completed Day one of week 3 of my C25K training. Even fell (I can't run a straight line and lost balance on the sidewalk) while running but got back up and kept going.

I started a new iPhone app called Easy 10K with Jeff Galloway by Lolo. It's fun to be doing a weekly program again. I'm using the part of it designed to help you improve your pace. My goal is to be able to run a 10K in under 1 hour. Don't care how far under! :D 59:59 is good!

When I got hungry today, instead of reaching for something I can take out of a package and enjoying just a few bites for a bunch of calories, I grabbed a cup of cantaloupe. I was so happy with my decision that I haven't thought about processed food since!

Way to go done girls!!!

Yesterday I did some walking & played mini golf. Got in some social time (which I really needed!) And I think it helped me relieve some stress so I can focus more this week on my walks and eating. I also have a lot of cleaning planned for today, thanks to being so busy and being in and out so much over the weekend lol. Why can't the house clean it's self when were busy lmao! emoticon

Did my C25K training this morning. Week 2 Day 2. Not my best time but I didn't give up! I have also eaten right so far today and plan to not overindulge on pizza this evening. Looking forward to tomorrows weigh in even though it might not be the greatest due to bloating. emoticon

Instead of eating strictly, I ate in moderation to help me manage a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. And boy did that waffle (only one with very light butter) taste good!

I walked for an hour this morning early, before I got so hot. I refuse to run more than 3 days a week so that I don't injure myself or get burned out, but I still need to stay active on non-run days while I'm in weight loss mode. Eyes focused on 154.2 when my BMI is officially below "overweight." :D 7.8 more pounds to go!

I researched ways to beat plateaus. It looks like I actually need to eat a little more than I have been, but other than that, it looks like I'm on track. I haven't been losing the weight that I have been, so I think my body is just in shock and needs a little time to recover. I'm a patient woman, so I'm fine with letting my body catch up a little.

I also make sure that I park in Outer Mongolia at the office every day, do at least 45 minutes of cardio a day, and do strength training 6 days a week (2x/week each for upper, lower and core), though stairs are not really an option for me.

I also make sure that my focus isn't weight loss or getting skinny. Instead, my focus is getting healthy and fit.

I looked at how far I've come and took a peek at how far I have to go. 10 more lbs by the end of August. Totally doable!

I've also eaten very well, took the stairs at work (now a common thing) and parked at least 30 spots away from the door to get some more exercise in.

We are freaking awesome!! Congrats ladies!!
