Since we have the turkey challenge for weight loss, what about something non-weight related? Maybe hours of exercise per week, or some health-related goal like dropping blood pressure, or something else to remind us all that it's about our health, not just the number on the scale. Just a thought!

I would be in for a challenge to take us through the new year. The accountability will definitely help going through football/halloween/thanksgiving/all of december....essentially eating season.

Tackle the Turkey sounds interesting, what was involved?

I just would like something fun, to keep things interesting. Although I feel great about my progress so far, sometimes things get a little routine.

I have set myself a challenge to lose quite a bit before christmas so that ALL the new clothes I have will fit and I can wear them...

This is a great idea!! The -ber months are when I tend to gain the most weight, especially when it gets colder and colder outside. I can't really think of anything but for maybe we can reward ourselves in December with a little Christmas gift to ourselves? Something we wouldn't normally purchase? :)

I know it's a little soon but with schools starting up this week, I can't help but think how fast the holidays are coming up. (well, that, and I'm seeing more and more Halloween candy in the stores....) Does anyone have any ideas for a good holiday challenge? Something fun that will last through the candy, turkey, and cookies...
