The wii fit/plus is great it's fun and entertaining at the same time you're getting a great workout in...it's not as intense of course as going to the gym but nevertheless it's great I have the wii fit plus and I love that it now counts the calories

If You're tired or starting over stop giving up

Now that Winter is just around the corner, I was interested in the wii, instead of renewing my gym membership. What do you think?

I refuse to let myself down.

Failure is not an option.

I definately agree. The wii fit is my best friend and tons of fun. I always try to gather a little audience (i.e. brothers, mother, friends, sister) so that I have more pressure to do well in whatever event I'm doing.

And I love the graph that keeps up with what flexibility, strength and balance exercises you do.

Well that's all I'm sayin til Nintendo sends me a check lol

I have Wii fit, Wii Fitness Coach, and Wii active...When I used wii fit regularly, I noticed a difference in my attitude, energy level, and the way my clothes fit. Unfortunately, I started slacking off and found / made up reasons not to use it. I recently recommitted myself to Spark People, exercise and using my Wii again and I'm looking forward to sticking with it this time. emoticon

I LOVE IT!!!
I don't feel like I am exercising and it builds activities based on the time you spend "playing". It has yoga, aerobics, and strength training exercises as well as balance building games. I hula hoop, box, and do step aerobics, as well as yoga. The strength exercises include exercises for core and thigh strengthing. I was so proud when i did my first 10 push-up's!!!
Others have noticed a difference in my posture and my lower back and shoulders don't hurt soo much anymore. My flexability has increased and my teens say I am calmer :)
The balance bord reprimands you for missing workouts and if your weight goes up alot, it asks you to think of why and gives fitness tips based on your answer. It also measures BMI and weight and recommends breaks during activities.
The only thing that is a bummer is it doesn't tell you the amount of calories burned.
