Mine were, drinking at least 8 cups of water, listening to a positive song in the morning, and exercise for 10 minutes. All those except for my water intake, I do 1st thing in morning. Only because I'm not a morning person. So while I listen to the music I get in my 10 min cardio, and throughout the day I finish my water. It's been going pretty good so far. Good luck everyone.

My goals were eating at least one serving of fresh produce/day, 10 minute walk, and talking to a positive person about my progress. I've done well, except for the exercise part. I've been sick for the last week, so I'm stretching my Fast Break out for another week, just to refocus myself on feeling better.

Brielana, I recognise what you are saying about the peptalk. I have to focus on being positive and motivational and kind to myself instead of telling myself I did something stupid (again). So I try to concentrate on all the things that went well and I'm getting better at it!

My goals are to stretch for 10 minutes, listen to a get up and go song, and track my calories. I picked them because I figured they were things I would actually enjoy doing and I thought that would help motivate me.

The stretching is going well (I've been doing yoga from On Demand) and the get up and go song is easy (although I'm starting to get very picky!). Tracking calories has gone well for the most part but the family and I took a mini-vacation this past weekend and I just couldn't count everything.

doing ok,

the pep talk I can manage, I talk to myself all the time, it's just taking a little more effort to assure the talk to positive and motivating and keeping all the little self criticisms out of it.

I'm having a harder time getting the daily walk in then I expected. Hubby is just not in the mood when he gets off work, and I don't want to do it alone. I think I need an iPod so I can take music with me, that might help.

I also figured I would have an easier time with two fruits a day, but it really does take a bit of effort. But I am getting better.

I'm getting used to talking to myself, it's quite funny and motivational. The water drinking is going well as long as I keep cold water in the fridge and working out with one piece of equipment is fun! For today I tried rope skipping and oh dear it's not like it used to be in school anymore lol!

How are y'all doing with your fast break goals?

I've been telling myself things like:
You've faced harder challenges than this; You deserve to be healthy; You can do this; Being thinner means you can have more energy, etc. I've just selected the subject andexpanded on it throughout the little conversation with myself.

Drink 8 glasses of water, give myself a 5 minute peptalk and exercise with a piece of equipment.

I just don't really know what to tell myself every day during my 5 minute peptalk. Any advice?

My goals are: drink 8 glasses of water a day, go for a walk every day, and give myself a 5 minute mental pep talk. I've completed all my goals for this week.

I picked 3 goals that I thought I would most likely be able to accomplish. Drinking 8 glasses of water, getting 8hrs (or at leats 7) of sleep, and telling somebody else about my goal. I am doing very well on meeting these goals.

The first part of the Spark people plan is Fast Break, it is a time to focus on being successful in meeting 3 goals that you can accomplish everyday.

What 3 goals did you pick and why? let us know how you are doing with meeting your goals.
