I've made my goal every single day except Sunday, the 13th -- when I wasn't allowed to eat any food at all. Bummer! But it was the colonoscopy prep.

This is one challenge I can win hands down!

Feeling OK today, had a nice talk with my 80-year old neighbor. And starting tomorrow I have to drink MORE water and go easy on fiber (don't know why on that) but that's the doctor's orders ---- so, it's what I'll do.

I really dread Sunday when I have to drink that HUGE container of water mixed with some sort of laxative. All I will get to do is sit in the bathroom all day. Think maybe I will write a bit on the story I'm working on.

I think I've already got it all handled. But then my tummy started to hurt. Next thing I had
diarrhea and then vomiting. Feeling better now, so taking a little nap.

Haven't even had dinner yet, but have drank all my water (some of it iced tea, which counts) and will undoubtedly have a couple more fruits or veggies with my dinner, already have 6 because of having homemade beef stew for lunch, plus had some blackberries while I was out doing the weeding/watering.

You really need to get that liquid intake up to a 6 to 8, Joyce. Four is not nearly enough!

Mine was 8 or more on the liquid beverages,

Let's say it started on Sept. 1st. I always track my food and water so it's easy. I seldom miss a day of having my 8 glasses of water, and I get 98% of the time get my veggie's and fruit too.

Yesterday was a bit hectic but I made it - slept all afternoon due to medication.

An easy one for this month, and one that will benefit you all, and you can all join in, regardless of your physical condition!

Rule #1 - drink 8 glasses (8 oz. each) of fluid daily (coffee, tea, milk, water, iced tea, etc)

Rule #2 - eat an assortment of five (5) fruits & veggies (combined)

Rule 2 may sound daunting to some of you, but let's say you have 1/2 a banana and some strawberries either in your cereal or in a smoothie for breakfast. THAT'S 2 already!

Lunch you might make a salad with fresh field greens, tomatoes, grapes, some roasted chicken, and some slivered carrots, I like to add a bit of cheese. THAT GIVES YOU THE 5

Dinner you don't even have to think, but chances are you will be adding 1 or 2 more. So you see how easy it is. If not a salad at lunch, perhaps a cup of veggie soup!

Just sign up, check in at least once a week, and winners get prizes! How Fun
