Do you do any other type of exercises besides the DVD? Perhaps jumping right into an exercise that is going to take several minutes (maybe as long as 30 minutes) might be just too much for a beginner. I know I would not have been able to keep up.

Why not start out with walking. Walking is something that almost everyone can enjoy. You can start by walking at your own pace., trying to increase your speed as you go along. Or walk slow, they every so often, speed it up to a brisk walk for a minute or so. Once you have built up some endurance with your walking exercises, try the DVD again and see if you can go further with it. Mornings are usually best, when the energy level is highest -- or right after you take a nap, if you do that type of thing.

I have the same problem. But when I do try a new DVD. I did as much as I could each day. I don't do the exercise exactly as they do, just as much as I can. I do the sitting on the floor exercises by sitting on a chair and doing what they do. At 1st I could only do 5 minutes and then tried the next day to go farther. Eventually I can get thru the whole dvd. Just haven't done it in a long time.

I always seem to be too tired to exercise, How can i conquer that? I have an exercise DVD from Sparkpeople and i have tried to do some of the exercises but I tire out so easily. It is a good DVD and i would love to exercise with it.
I have low thyroid too and that makes me tired. I need alot of encouragement.
