So I have survivied Hurricane Ike with the only casualty being our electricity. I am at work now and obviously have internet access (thank God!).

Anyway, here's what's come up healthwise since that time:
I don't exactly have my choice of food right now but I'm just happy to eat, and I've been exposed to more heat than usual but we have a cold front in right now, so it's really not that bad.

What I have noticed is that my left calf has started swelling. I've tried propping it up and that will reduce the swelling temporarily. I take asprin every once in a while when I am at work (as it is difficult to prop my leg up very high while I'm working). But these are temporary solutions.

My doctor isn't sure what is going on and it is very bothersome. When it swells really large (about double normal) it hurts but not so much otherwise.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the cause might be or on how I might be able to fix it?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Jona ;P
