Glad to "see" you all again... :-) HOW IS EVERYONE??

Polygamy always reminds me of Warren Jeffs. Gross. Have any of you read "Escape" by the lady who escaped his community with her 8 kids? It was on the bestsellter list forEVER...GREAT book... The author is Carolyn Jessop. The dark side of polygamy. Icky.

Last night, let's just say hubby wink-winked at me so I did not do Jason's Friday Challenge, so I have to start it today so I can do it again Mon/Wed!! So I am off to do that in the next 2 hours...wish me luck...GROAN...my booty hurts already!! Hee hee

And then later, Shae and I get to color eggs!! These things are so fun now with a 4-year old...yesterday, I was on the bike for about an hour, and every 5 minutes, she came in and said, "Mommy, is it time to color Easter eggs yet??" (knowing that we weren't doing it until today) Kids are so fun at this age - so excited about everything.

Off to the park to meet a friend for a 1-hour walk (she was the one who can't hike for 3 hours but she is able to walk for 1), and then Jason's immediately after!! OOOF!

P.S. 15 cups of water by bedtime...yesterday, my eyeballs were floating but this morning I am grateful for the water because Annoying Auntie has arrived...if I had not gotten the water in I would have had me some cramps...not today! Woo hoo!

Good morning Lovely Ladies! I miss keeping up with you all! Sometimes I hate corporate America - they blocked this site b/c the cateory is 'Health'. I don't get it.
OH well...Looks like I missed a lot with you all~ but looks like all is well! I will try to chat a little later. I was up this morning to do Jason's challenge, now off to run errands, and bake an angelfood cake before going to Church tonight....sometimes I don't like weekends because they are more busy than my week!

Hey hey hey ladies! Just checking in real quick before I hit the gym. I am doing a class today so I will let you know how that goes. I hope to do some weights after my class but I haven't done a class in so long I may just want to die.

Polygamy is where men have multiple wives. I found the show to be very interesting yesterday and then last night I watched Diane Sawyer's special on prostitution in the US - wow this world is a crazy place!

I will back to check on you ladies...I don't have much planned for this weekend. Take it easy!

You are all doing so well. I am trying to do a little cleaning (having easter dinner at our house). Not getting much done, I have to keep stopping to catch my breath. Hopefully I can get back in the saddle by Monday! Being sick this time is really kicking my booty. I'm not eating much but I sure do miss working out! Keep up the good work ladies.

Hi everybody!

Kids are on Spring Break today so I slept in until 8:30. Yeah!

I just got back from my neighbor lady funeral. She lived a long life and boy she was a feisty lady! So, I'm going to do some housework today and get in my walking later. I will play with my kids a little later. I have to figure out what in the world I want to put in my 11 yr old and 3 teenagers Easter baskets ugh! Well, Hugs to you all.

big rasberry to you meanines who won't let me have candy. I mean who can say no to reese peanut butter eggs? Which is ofcourse why I did not buy them for the kids baskets this year. yeah me.

TGIF ladies! I hope you are all planned out for a fantastic day. I am up because roomie doesn't hear his alarm and it went off for 45 min. this morning before I went in and screamed at him. I would be up early anyways on my day off but not at 5:15. Oh well!

Yes Janel, I work - hard to believe with the amount of time I am on here, uh? I can multi-task pretty well ;) As for the veggie quesadillas I just put use a little olive oil and I do up green peppers, red onions, and mushrooms and then I put some of that in between 2 whole wheat tortillas that I have browned in a pain with a little monterey jack cheese. I place the quesadilla on a baking sheet and pop in a 350 degree oven for about 6 min. and then top it with salsa and light sour cream -- YUMMO!

Shannon I struggle with water on my days off but I just grabbed a bottle before I sat down here -- I'm OFF!

Where are the other ladies!

I'm a slacker! I'm still on #7! I am trying. I just got home from a very long shopping trip. WHEW I'm wiped out. I just ate my dinner. How's my log look? LOL that doesn't sound right! LOL oh I crack myself up!!!

HELLO LADIES - sorry I got quiet towards the end of the day but it was CRAZY at work and since they do pay me I figured I should work! You guys understand right?

Shannon -- I so drank my gallon - sorry I didn't get to check in with you every hour but I won't lie there were several times when I was CHUGGING right at 5 min. to the hour. It is funny when you aren't aware how you can slack. I think we taught ourselves a lesson!

Ladies, I just came home and made some KICK BOOTAY Veggie Quesadillas. I hearted them!

Yeah and that stair stepper, I lasted a whole minute! OMG that thing is HARD! (my hubby said its on the 2nd to the lowest, you better believe hes going to put it on the lowest tonight!) LOL

OHHH That's a bummer! Tell her I said to have a great "almost Friday"! Same to everyone else!

My hubby brought me home a stair stepper yesterday! A guy at his work was going to throw it away. So, he took it all apart and repainted it. It looks brand new. Then the guy said he would keep it! LOL My hubby said ya right! Guys are so funny!
So, I'm going to see how long I can do it for today, also my ST is today!

Anyone want to do 50 reverse crunches with me???

I don't kow about the foot size but stride, yeah that is why you can't keep up. my stepdad is 6'4 and mom is 5'4 he was always ahead even when she was younger and fitter. I learned to walk real fast to keep up and haven't slowed down since. lol but tell your hubby that if he wants you to keep up he will have to decrease his stride.

I am eating fruits, veggies and nuts but a little while later I am ready to chow down again! I am drinking enough but maybe I need to drink more? I don't know. I did some Spring cleaning today! Does that count? LOL. My allergies are acting up! I don't feel so hot but I jogged a half mile with my husband today and walked the other two miles really fast. I was talking to Miranna about this. I have a size four kid foot. Yes I am a small person! My husband has a size ten foot. He is like lightening when he runs and walks I wonder why I can't keep up with him half the time and I think it is because he is double the height and triple the foot size of me. What do you guys think?

Yes, I had a great time with my mom! Thank you for asking. We did more shopping than walking. LOL She spoiled me and my family. My hubby needed a belt, since he was bragging to her how he has lost inches and his belt is too big. My son needed new tennis shoes. And, I needed new walking shoes and some workout pants. We had a blast. I only did 4 planks today :( Sorry, my wrist is hurting me. Anyway, good night all! See you tomorrow!

hello,
I did 100 squats adn 45 min on the treadmill. I can not do the planks. my abs are too sore fromthe crunches and bananas yesterday. hope everyone is having a good night.

Cool, OK so I did jasons and 3- 30 sec. planks omg i hate those! I will try to do 2 more later. My mom just suprised me with a visit (that never happens) so we are going shopping after dinner, and we're gonna walk the mall! I will be a mall walker today! (I used to make fun of those people when I was young) hehehehe

I think I get enouhg fiber usually cheerios in morning and fruit throughout day. as for eating often I eat all morning between patients. about once an hour. an apple or crackers whatever i can get
kimmie fell free to look over my logs they are public. I think mimi checks them out regularly. i know the cals seem low but sometimes I eat a little more than 1 serv or forget to log a snack in the evening.

Tomie -- I will snap a pic and capture your personality. If that is what our pic is supposed to do then I guess that is what happened because I am just one big DORK and if I was a dinosaure I would be a Dorkasauras! BAH HA HA

As for the food thing - Garber is on it, you need more fiber to fill you up. Also, try some negative calorie foods so that it takes your body longer to process them and you stay fuller longer. You have been working out more so you may just need a little bit more. I am no expert but wouldn't mind looking over your logs to see where there may be some thing that you just aren't seeing.

How many times a day are you eating? I make sure to eat more times a day. I eat almost every two hours.

Check it out, I finally took a pic that I liked! I had to go into the bathroom so I could see the reflection of my camera in the mirror! LOL

I don't get nearly enough sleep as I should. I get anywhere from 4 to 5.5 hours. I do know that if I sleep too many hours, I drag all day long. I guess my body is used to it by now.
As far as the hunger - maybe what you are eating isn't the right thing even if it is healthy. Do you have TONS of fiber? That will fill you up. When I have the hunger issues, I try to eat some fruit or fiber-rich ceral. Hope that helps a little.

kimmie now would I do that? Actually I love the portrait, t tells me up front that you are fun loving. I tried to take a new on too shannon but mine wasn't as fun as kimmie's so I am waiting till someone else snaps a good one. maybe one that captures my personality.

ok on to the problems. Guys I am hungry. no matter what I eat this week I am hungry in ten minutes. I don't mean bored hungry I mean belly growling starving feeling. I have tried exercising, water, getting on here but all I can think about is food because I am hungry. anybody else ever go through this and what the heck do you do about it? I am almost out of healthy stuff here at work to eat. I had to send one of the girls for a veggie tray, then I went to taco bell. (I looked up what to eat first) Please help me if you can. send food for starters. lol

Thanks Kim, I drank 8 bottles Mon. and Tues.! Ok so today I feel like poop! I was fine when I woke up, I got hubby off to work and my son off to school. I got online and logged all my food for the day. I made my breakfast, sat down to eat, then it hit me. I was falling asleep, so I laid down on the couch. I just woke up and I feel so rotten! It is cold and rainy here and I think that has alot to do with it. I need to get out of this slump! Yuck :( Are there any challenges today?

although I am working and not seeing it in the mirror I feel it in the fit of pants. the weird thing is this morn as I am walking i fell like my butt looks like jello. So what choice did I have I grabbed it to see if it was shaking as bad it felt like.(i hope no one saw me) It certainly does ot feel like steel but not mush either so I must be getting there, huh?
I watched biggest loser last night and the one thing that bugs me is they are losing so quick, right? but look at the skin hanging. I don't want that and from what i have heard if you lose slowly the excess skin is not so bad and I just keep thinking about that. Look at Brittany she looks fabulous with slow loss and no skin hanging. I want to look like her.

Good morning ladies!
Sorry I haven't been around a lot lately, work is CRAZY and by the time I get home, make dinner and workout, it is time for bed so I can get my bootay up in the am for the gym.
I did the bananas, tricep extensions, and lateral raises last night along with Jason's challenge. I was pooped! I didn't see the rest of the challenges on here until this morning or I would have done them as well, however, in doing Jason's challenge there were 165 pushups in there so that counts for something, right? LOL
I am off to a good start this morning...I am focused and ready to rock and roll!!!!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL humpty hump day!

GOOD MORNING LADIES and Happy HUMP DAY...My lovely lady humps (Black Eyed Peas, and if you have never heard that song you think I am nuts now).

Let me start by saying thank you to all of you who were concerned about me yesteday, that was very sweet and I truly do appreciate every email, message, post, Goodie, phone call, etc.! SMOOCHES! Just a disclaimer the coworkers comments stung but not what were bothering me yesterday.

With that all being said. I am here, I did what I was supposed to do. I didn't do any of the challenges here but I did Turbo Jam and Jason's Challenge yesterday. I already have in 40 oz. of water and I am on a roll today. I have a 'deal' with Marilee of at least 60 min. of cardio a day and 30 min. of strenght training a day for the next 2 weeks so I need to stay motivated.

I will be around much more today so I hope to see you around!

SHANNON - start drinking that water now! Are youtired of peeing just yet?

Only if I had a video camera you all would be laughing up a storm.

Here I am in the doctors area (where all the doctors sit and I am doing girly pushup's and two of the doctors got down on the floor and did them with me. They challenged me to do the last 10 regular.. and I DID IT!! OMG I DID IT!..
