Hi ladies!

I increased my strength training. I haven't lost a pound! I have lost inches though. I feel really good! I am having some great workouts! I don't really care about what is on the scale as long as my measurements keep going down!

Keep up the good work team you guys are doing great!

FM 481 + 4 days of strength training

Grade for last week - B+ - I did great on fitness minutes and strength training (even did Jason's Friday Challenge!) and a 3-hour hike - BUT - I did not lose a pound this week. I watched what I ate - stayed within my ranges - EXCEPT for yesterday, I went over on sodium, and THAT plus my hike - my ankles have been swollen like an elephant's all weekend. I am trying to water flush it a little bit and hope that I have a better number tomorrow!! :-|

Also, this week, I am going to try to eat at the very low end of my calorie range to see if that helps.

FM: 505 min. Increased Cardio and strength training.

My score this week was an "A", even with a gain. Over the last two weeks I have increased my strength training double fold and also my cardio. I was just doing treadmill and now I am on the elliptical, which takes more muscle to work. My fat % has dropped by a little over 7% from last week, so my take it that I am building muscle which is fine for me. Because the more muscle, the higher the burn on fat. Reving up the metabolism - woohoo!!

My grade for the last week was a C...just an average nothing extraordinary attempt on last week. A lot of things going on in my personal life which affected my week. I'm actually grateful to be 0.2 down considering how last week was for me.

It's a new week and time for new beginnings!

I had a decent loss but I honestly give myself a D+...I just didn't have a good mindset this week. This coming week I am going to go back to the basics and try to be more focused!

emoticon Week # 5 of Team Synergy Challenge emoticon

Hello Team Synergy! How is everyone this week? I hope you are feeling motivated and ready for an outstanding week. I loved the challenge last week and as hard as it was to find positives about ourselves, it helped me put some things in perspective about self-esteem. How did you feel about last week? If you had to give yourself a grade what would it be? (A+ through F) scale.

We are entering week 5 of our challenge and it is going so fast. I can guarantee you that this will not be our first and last challenge. More to come in a couple weeks! I hope everyone is excited and will join us and invite others to share in this journey together.
