I am up for some positive this week. The last week has been horrible for me in this aspect. It is all my responsibilty and I am hoping to be able to turn around this week. All happy thoughts are welcome.

Okay ladies, the last two weeks have been tough on a lot of us,including me, but we have to pump back the positive energy.

Negativity is contagious, but so is positively. My goal this weekend is for every negative thought, turn it into a positive thought. You don't necessarily have to act on it, but at least turn your thought process in positive energy.

Anyone in on this with me?

LADIES I have been a slacker and a bum and I am sorry for that. The last few days have kicked my tail. Ms. Miracle don't beat yourself up over a few bad choices. This is a lifestyle change and not a diet. Tomie girl I am coming to visit you, I could go for about 5 or 10 beers myself. I would go get a 12 pack now but drinking alone is NO fun for me. Anybody wanna join me, I'll put you up for a weekend!

You think that was bad, I got you topped I had at least 7 beers last night and no dinner. It wasn't so much an emotional day as the fact that I was back at work and the crap with shelby's doctors. Oh well I am back on track this am. I shoveled the ice off the driveway. I found new arm muscles too. They are mad at me and letting me know but that is alright they'll get over it.

as for my positive for the day I know I can do anything I truley want to because I am one strong lady.

Thank you so much Janel for the sweet comment and encouragement. The cupcake was just the result of a very very stressful day and a half. I am so much of an emotional eater and just started wanting to eat everything in site. I ended up eating the cupcake and popcorn with butter, a soda and 2 chocolates. It was not pretty, but I pulled myself together today and taking my own advise and moving forward.

Don't beat yourself up over a little cupcake! Do you know I have friends who push themselves Monday-Friday hard with diet and exercise then on Saturday or Sunday they may have some potato chips or chocolate or whatever gets their fancy! They are doing great! This type of lifestyle may not appeal to you but if we don't allow ourselves a little treat once in awhile I think we set ourselves up for failure! One thing I would suggest is that when you are up to exercising push yourself hard! I think that this may ease up on the guilt you feel! You are a blessing to me and all of us here on your team. We love ya girl!

Oh ladies, I am so touched with your words of encouragement. Today is much better and I am trying to keep positive and fast forward. I had a little talk with myself this morning and a pep talk this afternoon.

I spent some alone time this morning and early afternnon, got my hair done and sat in the mall had a healthy lunch and then headed home.

Okay, I am having a real bad day today. Well, it actually started yesterday evening, but today it caught up with me. First one in awhile, but it has me wanting to eat everything I can put my hands on. I have resisted and only had one cupcake (reduced fat & sugar), but I am really wanting just to munch on everything.

I am coming on here just to make me be accountable for this. I am trying my best, but just can't shake the feeling today. It is snowing so I can't go out. I have tried to excercise and that lasted 10 min. I am just at my witts ends today.

I know that I am need to be positive, but today it just ain't happening!

On Feb 1st we had 15 members and as of today we have 11 being active.

Of the 11 active members we weighed a total of 2692.4 lbs as of February 1st.

Our goal is to loose a total of 168 lbs together (by March 31st) and have a minimum of 960 fitness minutes a week.

In Week #1 we lost 20 lbs and had 1993 fitness minutes recorded.

In Week #2 we lost 14.2 lbs and had 1584 fitness minutes.

What will week #3 bring?

Ok! This week is going great so far! I did my weight training today and I filled out my food log! I ingested alot less calories than what I thought! Wow! I didnt realize how much food you should eat on my plan! I am trying to stay within 1220 calories per day. Ok! I am so excited that I am losing inches it truly is unbelievable:

cw: 195 lbs
waist: 35 inches

Wow! My tape measure was cold!

I am really excited because right now my bmi is 34.5-I am still considered to be "obese" but if I lose a few more pounds and get down to 29 I will just be considered "overweight" according to the bmi! I know this is silly but I am aiming more for the lower bmi than for what I see on my scale!

Isn't that the truth? I couldn't agree more. Even at work when the elevator opens - I always say hello to whomever comes in and say have a good day to those that leave. Do you realize how many responses you get from this one gesture? Many people don't know how to respond and don't but others do. Even though I may not always get a response I always do this because I like it!

OMG after such a bad fitness week I'm in shock! I guess I did OK with eating and drinking water. I'm ready to start this week off! I will do my new walking DVD and our challenge and see what happens next week!

I am up 2 lbs. this week. I am oddly okay with this. Last week was a rough week for me, a learning experience of sorts. I am regrouping and have had a good weekend and I am looking at this journey a little different. I have some goals to focus on and I am brushing this off and moving forward.

Congrats to everybody for having another week of being aware!

I lost 2 inches

Slow week on fitness, but that was because of that nasty flu. This week will be better. I was 222 the other day, but weighed in at 223 but know that is due to "TOM".

Overall, I would give this week at B+!

I had a bad eating/workout weekend, but I am confident that my +2 is water weight. I didn't drink NEARLY enough water since Thursday and I honestly dind't eat even close to 'good'. I was away all weekend which is no excuse but I know where I went wrong and I am going to fix that this week!!!

here's my weekly report

170.2 lbs
hips 42.5

strength about 180

needless to say I would have liked to see more weight off but am excited to see the waist inches down and that I am exercising. For some reason my hip inches are up .5 point but everyone including me knows they have shrank so I am not worried about that number at all.
I can't wait to see everyone else's progress. I kno you are all doing better than you give yourself credit for.
