Thanks Penny, I am afraid of spicy food! I can't even handle plain pepper. My husband saw on BL that you can use red pepper flakes when you are cooking something that calls for salt. I guess I could give it a try! emoticon

Hot Sauce & Chile Pepper Facts
Lose Weight By Eating Hot Sauce?

A study published in the British Journal of Nutrition has discovered that capsaicin, (the stuff in peppers that makes them hot), when added to breakfast foods or appetizers at lunch, causes people to eat less during meals and for hours afterwards. Thirteen women, who ate breakfast foods spiced with red pepper, ate less than normal at breakfast and during the day, while ten men, who ate red pepper laced appetizers, consumed fewer calories at lunch and during a mid-day snack hours later. Hi team!

Yesterday was a good day. I worked out for about 35 min after work and it felt good. I definently had to push my self to do it, as I was not feeling the greatest, but afterwards it felt great.

I did really good on water, 128 ounces and stayed in my range. WOOHOOO!!

I just love this!!

Guess what else? I just relized I hit my first 10% loss! That is so cool!

I am a big fan of BBC America. I love the show I think its called you are what you eat or something like that. The lady has a cruel to be kind approach that I love! One meal she makes is called "Aduki bean stew". You may want to check this recipe out. I think it is posted on the BBC website. Supposedly, the aduki beans are really good for people who are overweight.

Team Synergy:

Each of you have chosen goals and meaning for this challenge that are personal to you, so thank you for sharing with us.

Well here are Team Synergys Statistics:

We have 11 team members and collectively,we weigh: 2,732.4 lbs. Our collective weight loss goal is 175 lbs over the next 8-weeks. Isn't that amazing?
