I had some lemon green tea and used it mixed with jasmine green and plain green for iced tea. It is a nice change of pace.

I like to add peppermint to my green tea, a bag of each. Next summer I am going to grow peppermint in the garden specifically for this.

That's interesting about the temperature ~ I usually leave my tea cool a bit before I drink it!

I have started to do my green tea at only 150 degrees F. This is so much better for the no bitter in the tea. I am fasting today with just water and iced green with jasmine tea to drink.

Hehe, I don't like rum on its own either, but somehow it really works with the tea and the cherry-flavor.

Yeah, I have been looking for something autumn-related while choosing the pic, since fall is coming. Let's hope it will be beautiful :).

It's almost time for me to change to a fall theme. Probably will be my background page though.
My Daughter would probably love the Tea with Rum. She doesn't drink rum, but enjoys foods with it. Kind of funny. The Pu-Erh sounds interesting!

I guess that would depend on what sort of kind of tea you'd get - the teashops where I leave (which is Europe) offer some fruity Pu-Erhs. Generally speaking, Pu-Erh has this deep, "earthly" taste to it and a lot of people dislike it - I admit it took me a while to get used to it. I've recently discovered a wonderful, fruity Pu-Erh tea (that had little flowers floating in it among the leaves!) that was also surprisingly "light" for a Pu-Erh... Another one of my favorites is a Pu-Erh with cranberries, raspberries and currants. It's sweet and just fruity enough, it also comes from a really expensive teashop, so the quality is really amazing. The same teashop also has cherries-with-rum flavored one - how that one smells *_*. Seriously, the whole apartment is full of its scent - no scented candle can match it!

So I guess Pu-Erh is one of those things you'll either love or hate...

Thank you :)! I'm glad you like my profile pic - I spent a while looking for a pretty one :D. Your profile pic is so cute ^_^.

My favorite is Apricot/Peach Tea. I buy the Jasmine Green Tea made by Wild Harvest. I found it at Albertson's. Lipton makes a tea that is pretty good...Green Tea with Orange, Passionfruit & Jasmine. I drink Peppermint Tea when my stomach is fuzzy. I have so many teas it's crazy lol.

Glad to be of use! What are the other flavors you like? I read your post about Jasmine Green Tea - I've only tried it once, in a sushi restaurant, but it was pretty good. I'll probably give it a chance when I run out of one of my current teas - so thanks for mentioning it as well ;).

I just bought a Green Tea with Peach. It is pretty good, but I feel like you do, doesn't match some of my other favorites. I had wondered about the Cacti. Thanks for mentioning it!

I have started to like green tea just recently. My favorite flavors are probably green tea with lemons and green tea with strawberries and cranberries (so sweet, it's definitely the best I have drank so far!). I have also recently discovered a cacti(!)-flavored sencha and it's delicious, much to my surprise...
I also drink peach-flavored green tea, which is okay, but nowhere as good as those mentioned above.

I haven't done it myself, but a Japanese restaurant here has green tea with toasted rice in it that is wonderful.

At exercise class this morning as I was drinking from my water bottle (plain ol tap water, room temp at this point...) I noticed another woman drinking from a water bottle filled with lemon slices....... light bulb moment!
So we started talking about what we drank throughout the day and we both mentioned how much we liked green tea.
I love Earl Grey green tea in the mornings ~ and prefer straight green tea in the evenings.
She mentioned that she adds fruit to her teapot of green tea all the time!
Has me thinking about it!
Has anyone else tried to add different things to their green tea?
