Sounds like a good plan. I know most of our "regulars" around here have been here for quite some time & have a handle of what we "should" be doing. Now to put that into action ...

Might I also suggest adding a thread for nutrition goals met. I think those are the two biggies. If you make them sticky with an explanation as the first post new members should be able to find them.

This is a good start, so I shall make an exercise goals thread to post on, for starters! :)

My goal is to do at least 15 minutes of exercise 6 days a week with at least 30 minutes three days. Hopefully I'll get more than that, but I'm having problems getting off my tushie. :( Thanks for the motivation Terry! I often forget how helpful it is to write out your goals.

My goal is to walk at least 5000 steps per day-hopefully more. I have been really working at it for 2 weeks now. I know there will be days when weather/ or unexpected commitments may interfere but I'm trying really hard.

Well, I've just been adding into the team goals as they weren't removed from last month and are still up. *smiles* Not the tea but the cardio, doing the walking. In another team I'm focused on walking and eating breakfast. For the summer, I'm focused on walking. I know its redundant but this is the first summer in years I'm going in healthy. So walking is a great start for me. I'd add in swimming but there isn't a pool for over 100kms and swimming in the lake isn't the same. As when I get to the lake, I don't really swim, I goof around with the kids.

I realize I'm late in getting a monthly challenge started, since part of June is gone already. But I think new challenges keep us in check. So how about we all set our own goals, be it water, exercise, keeping in check with our calories, whatever you like, and I'll start a few threads when you let me know what your goals are. Does that make sense? LOL Just report here what it is you'll be striving for over the summer months and we'll get some threads going!
