Sorry about being out of the loop. I have been dealing with a lot of pain due to the lupus. Hopefully it will disappear soon. The doctor is having me take PT again. That will help. Hope everyone else is doing well.

I am going to continue my personal challenge of staying within calorie range. Food is my greater challenge. Exercising daily and eating breakfast are givens. Yes, I am one of those morning people. emoticon

Starting this week for the month of April I am doing the Rise and Shine challenge

1) Take time to eat a healthy breakfast in the morning every day

Or

2) Exercise first thing in the morning every day

Or

3) Both of the above!

I am going for both. Anybody up for the challenge?

Hello BJ! Sorry to hear your energies have been devoted elsewhere and not to taking care of yourself. As we know consistent exercise can make a world of difference, and you are on the right track there!

This week I am challenged, since it is spring break here (though we are having snow flurries now...). DH is home from school for the week, and DD is gone, traveling with another family.

So my routine is challenged, which means eating and exercising regularly could get tricky.

So my immediate challenge is to exercise daily, per my usual routine, and endeavor to stay in calorie range, despite a lot of planned eating out--something I just love to do! emoticon

Sorry I have fallen short with challenges, but I have been falling short for myself, too. Starting today It is back to taking care of me and feeling better about me. My personal challenges for me this week are:

Minimum 10 minute cardio in the AM and 5 minute strength
Gym at least 3 afternoons this week including cardio and strength
Minimum 15 minute cardio at night
Seriously watch what I eat and watch the sweets and calories.

What are your personal challenges?

BJ
