JUMPING on the band wagon.

When we join the 5% Challenge we all know this (if we've been on it before as many of us have been,) or if when we first join so many of us are EXCITED to see it IS an active team.

This does NOT mean that we NEED to kill ourselves with exercising. I have many health issues and have even more thru the almost 9 years of being on the 5% Challenge, but it does mean doing what I can. Everyone is at a different point and hey, WOOHOO to all! Be it that just starting out or like me ,,, currently with a broken foot ,, doing 10 mins 3 times a week of exercise,, GREAT JOB!! I do over that, but where's I started years ago.

The LTGLs not all of them I LOVE, or even LIKE ! LOL that's really WHY I stay with it!! I NEED to be healthier and the 5% is helping me to do so. WOOHOO TO THAT!! AND TY OALs for these and this!!

(I See the line for my blog coming on,,, don't you?)

But YES as both a member and leader it IS FRUSTRATING as can be when one joins challenge after challenge, but barely does anything with it, or "forgets" weekly to post more than 3 or maybe 4 days of the week. Especially if it's a team that is competitive as our team is. Our leaders are so good at reminding our members that they DO NOT NEED to exercise harder etc, just to report what it is they've done.

I absolutely DO credit my success to the 5% Challenge!! BLOG COMING ON!! WOOHOO!!

I agree with paceka1.
The leaders give up their valuable time and energy to organise and manage these challenges don’t make a fool of them and not participate. Someone else could make better use and benefit from a space you’re not using.

Make it work for you by working the 8 weeks of the challenge

THE ONLY PLACE SUCCESS PRECEDES WORK IS IN THE DICTIONARY.

KALISWALKER, loved your blog!!

I wrote a blog and worked out my exercise and nutrition and then updated my page. Hope the link works! This will be my first 5% Challenge and I'm so excited! I'm starting on my walking program today (it's a 12 week program) and before bed yoga as well. The rest I'll start on Monday, I'm trying to make Sunday my rest day, except for walking, which is a milder walking day so a break but still being active.

I have to agree with PATRICIA-CR below. I believe just showing up is so important. Log your exercise minutes every day if at all possible and be sure to post your weight on Saturdays. Your team leaders will greatly appreciate your efforts!

I would like to add, whether you are a new or a regular member of the 5% challenges, that there's a COMMITMENT when you sign up with any team. YES. YOU ARE COMMITTED to participate and follow the rules and requirements for that team. If you do not have the time or willingness to do so, then think it over before joining! That's what a team is all about, each member is equally important in its team progress. We all need your compromise and collaboration.
