I missed my yogurt. ha! I JUST CAN'T QUIT YOU.

Greek yogurt and peanut butter protein granola this morning, with green tea. Apple and almond butter for a morning snack.

Also bought some regular and chocolate PB2 sample packs to see if I like it. 45 calories sure beats full almond butter, if it tastes good.

Today I had an everything bagel thin. Yesterday we had to travel a couple hours downstate for a meeting. We ate out all 3 meals!! We had homemade vegan bagels and tofu cream cheese at our favorite breakfast place! It was worth every bite!

Huh. It never occurred to me to put fruit on a potato. Glad you like it!!

This morning is my dog's favorite day ... the day I finish off a container of yogurt and let her lick it clean. :)

Cereal. Breakfast was quick this morning trying to make it in to school for early morning meetings. We have an early release day due to parent teacher conferences tonight so I know I will have the opportunity to have an apple during cafeteria duty.

Pineapple chunks on top of a baked potato, particularly a sweet potato is wonderful. Yes, weird. But good.

Left over Italian cut green beans from last night's supper, and a baked potato with pineapple and blackberries - Yes, I know, very strange.

I like overnight oats too and haven't done that in a long time for breakfast. That's why I joined this thread - something to dust off and put back in the rotation. Mine are usually oats, chia/flax/pumpkin seeds, walnuts, almond/soy milk, maybe some dried or fresh fruit.

I started putting a couple of jars of rolled oats in water in the fridge with a few raisins or dried cranberries, a few nuts or seeds. In the morning I add my serving of pea or rice protein powder, a little more water as needed and a cut-up fresh fruit. Very little morning prep and I can grab it and go.

I haven't been to the store this week since we're going away this weekend. Breakfast was just a couple frozen Van's blueberry waffles and a bit of maple syrup.

Don't feel too bad, I caved at dinner last night. We all have these moments!

This morning I had another smoothie - greek yogurt, soy milk, super greens, blueberries, mangos. I realized after I blended it that I forgot to put in the protein powder, but oh well. Between the yogurt and soy milk still plenty in there, and I saved myself some calories.

I had a long run planned for this morning but ran out of the energy balls I make and eat pre-exercise, so I ate about 1/3 of a Dale's breakfast bar, did my run, came home and ate the other 2/3 plus a piece of lentil bread with earth balance.

I had toasted English muffin bread for breakfast this morning and brought a to-go bar for a snack. Due to icy road conditions we had a 2 hour delay. I think they definitely made the right choice! I was supposed to take kids on a field trip today, we will have to try to reschedule for next Wednesday.

Thanks for the suggestion, WILDEVERGREEN! I can't remember off the top of my head which cookbook of theirs we have, but I will look for it. Our was a gift given to us over the holidays. This was actually the first recipe we tried out of there! 1 for 1 so far! Our go-to books are Kristy Turner's But I never thought I Could Go Vegan". Our pages are all dog-eared and stained from use!

I don't have any of the books but I do love thug kitchen. It's on the list to pick up some day.

I had more yogurt and granola. Feeling in a bit of a rut, so time to change it up for next week. I'd say now but I have a whole new container of yogurt to eat. Maybe I'll switch to smoothies to use it up and mix up the routine.

I LOVE Thug Kitchen! Their books are my go-to for new ideas. I recommend the Polenta Blueberry scones in the new "Fast As...." book. So good!

Breakfast today was oatmeal with cinnamon, blueberries and shredded coconut. Yum!

Hmm, I've never heard of or seen that brand. I like my Fage 2%. I feel like I'm a greek yogurt connoisseur. I don't really like the sweetened/fruity ones in general and for some reason the Fage tastes way better to me than most of the other plain greek yogurts.

That's what I had for breakfast this morning, along with some nature valley oats & dark chocolate granola.

So, while I like my yogurt plain, I like to mix my own things into it.

Please don't ask me to make sense. ;)

Hey there, I've been MIA for a bit too. I'm trying to finish up my Master's thesis and my son was out of town so I have been very focused on that. However, I do take frequent breaks to walk the dog, do yoga, and cook nutritious meals (although with my son gone, the meals are much simpler).

This morning I made a frittata with some asparagus that had been in my fridge for a while, and mushrooms. It was yummy!

I found that by washing and drying the asparagus and then wrapping it in cloth and a plastic bag, it will last a lot longer in the fridge.

Also, since you gals are on a yogurt thing, I recommend Simple Truth (King Soopers/City Market brand), Lowfat Strained Greek Yogurt. It's one of those that has plain yogurt on one side and a fruity jelly on the other side. When you mix them together it tastes like cheesecake!

KWIECH what kind of protein granola do you get? I really like the Nature Valley oats & chocolate one. Any time I can have chocolate for breakfast is a win in my book.

I pretty much had dessert for breakfast today, but it was soooo good. I had cherry almond yogurt with protein granola. I was so hungry after exercising this morning. I sat at the computer to work on some committee work, and made sure I put my bowl down after every bite. I relished each bite this morning.

I've been kinda bad the last couple of days, but it was cold and I was sick and just wanted comfort food. But my son is out of town for a week, so it's my opportunity to eat super healthy without worrying about whether he'll like it or not. I did my grocery shopping this morning and two people commented how healthy my basket was!

Breakfast was two slices of Dave's thin sliced whole-grain bread with cream cheese and fruit preserves. I also had a mid-morning snack of half a grapefruit with a little agave.

Trying to be good today.

Breakfast was oatmeal with dried cranberries, hemp seed, a teaspoon of peanut butter on top and a little agave. I need to remember to add cinnamon.

Then, two hours later I ate a piece of leftover pizza. Bad me!
