i've just decided to look closer at my iodine intake. i have hashimotos disease and i'm on t4 daily. so far i've relied on iodized salt for my iodine intake but i think i shouldn't. does it suffice?
since seaweeds contain varying amounts of iodine and, since too much or too little iodine can harm the thyroid, i was wondering what those of you with thyroid conditions do to be safe.
i'm reluctant to take a supplement because of the t4 pill. i'm gonna ask my doctor of course, but i was just wondering what you think, if you've ever been in a similar position.
thank you!
