I enjoy looking for ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN! God's word says repent the kingdom of God is at hand! Kingdom of God right here on Earth. My life has been a series of horrible events, even while walking with God, it was hell on Earth even as a Strong Woman of faith! Then God opened my spiritual eyes to see how I can HEAVEN ON EARTH through it all! God thy kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven!
The most exciting thing about being in Heaven will be seeing GOD with Jesus sitting at His right side!

I agree, Laura. Can you imagine that perfect love we will have for one another and for the one we were married to on earth? I think my DH is my best earthly friend down here but sometimes we disagree on things etc etc. but up there, just perfect love and best of all friendships like never before down here. Then knowing our friendship is equally the same with everyone we meet. Like one loving family. I get so excited to think of going to heaven. Remember the song, "I have never been this homesick before?

I remember asking this question in your first team you set up. I am comforted to know that my husband will know me when he sees me as well as my mom. Yet the relationships will be different. Because we will all be one family; brothers and sisters in Christ. he will be our groom or husband and we will be His bride.For he told the Jews that there will, be no marriages in heaven.

I think people are worried about missing those in Heaven who will not be there and be sad. God will wipe away every tear, plus, I think personally, our understanding will be so different than it is here. Has not God done everything possible for our loved ones to be saved? I think we will certainly see God's justice. However, it will be, for sure Heaven is a place of joy and happiness and fellowship. So, I truly believe, I will recognize my baby that I never got to hold,, my parents, and many other saved loved ones who have gone on. I believe there will be loving relationships among all of God's people.

Description of the Place Jesus Went Away to Prepare
I hope you follow along in your Bibles (Revelation chapters 21 and part of chapter 22)
1. There are 7 New Things Revealed
(1) the new heaven
(2) the new earth (no sea) (21:1)
(3) the new Jerusalem
(4) the new Temple
(5) the new light
(6) the new Paradise and the river of the water of life
2. In Verse 11 John describes the Holy City, New Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven( 21: 2,10 ) from God shining like a jasper stone clear as crystal appearance of a diamond


(21:18). (Imagine 1500 miles long,1500 miles wide, and 1500 miles high) (four-square 21:16)
3. Verses 11-25 John describes the following:
(1) The city is enclosed by a Wall great and high (21:12)of which is either 216 feet high or 216 feet thick. (unsure which). It is made as of Jasper (21:19-20) while the city was PURE GOLD (21:18).(imagine so pure like clear glass)
(2) The wall had 12 foundations made with different precious stones . (21:19-21

(WE CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE SPLENDOR)




(3) It has a total of 12 gate with the names of the tribes of Israel on them; each made of a single pearl guarded by an Angel. (there are 3 gates on each of the 4 sides of the wall. (21:21) The gates are never closed (21:24-25 for the nations of the earth shall bring their glory and honour into it.


(4) The street is Pure Gold ( it is singular not streets) (Imagine the length of that street!! (21:22)
(5) it is illumined by the glory of God (21:23)
(6) (22:1-2 a pure river of water, clear as crystal proceeds from the throne of God and the Lamb
(7)22:2 in the midst of the street of it, and of either side of the river, was there the tree of life with its 12 varieties of fruit, yielding each month its fresh crop, and its leaves were for the healing of the nations.
4. There are some things that will definitely not be there, while other things will not be needed.
21:22 , 22:5 no need for a temple, no need of the sun, or moon (read to see
why)
21:23 nothing that defiles or works abomination will ever go into it. (A place
of Perfectness; no sin nor curses will ever be present)
As pretty as some of the pictures are painted from the minds of man, it would fail to compare to the reality of what we will one day see as Believers. What an eternal home! Oh that the world would accept Jesus as Savior and be there too.

Another person was Moses.
When Moses looked into heaven, he saw the true tabernacle of God. Then he constructed the earthly tabernacle accordingly.

Exodus 24:30 Than you shall erect the tabernacle according to its plan which you have been shown in the mountain.(previous verses show Moses in the cloud covered Mt. Sinai conversing with God)

I love the this scripture about Christ: Hebrews 9:24 For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, not to appear in the presence of God for us.

What did Paul mean by the “Third Heaven”?

The first heaven is the Atmospheric heaven where the air we breathe is and where the birds fly etc. The atmosphere extends upward from earth about 3,000 miles.

The second heaven is the Celestial heaven where the sun, moon, and stars are located.

The third heaven is the Divine Heaven where the abode of God is, the holy angels and departed saints.

The scriptures use the word “heaven” over 500 times. In the Old Testament translation from Hebrew to English means “the heights”. In the New Testament the Greek word to English means “that which is raised up”
So we think of it as “that which is above”

In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 it speaks of God comes Down from heaven and man goes Up to heaven in the same passage.

Imagine the distance to the 3rd heaven by taking in this information.
If light travels 186,000 per second and 11,160,000 per minute, it takes the sun 8 light minutes away to reach earth. Our solar system has a diameter of 700 light minutes across ( 8 billion miles) The galaxy we live in is only one of billions. With certain telescopes, objects as far away as 5 billion light years or more, can be observed. Heaven is beyond the celestial atmosphere

Where is Heaven? 2 Corinthians 12”2-4 gives us the answer; Paul says, “I know a man in Christ who 14 years ago, whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows such a man caught up into the Third Heaven into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.

Heaven (Paradise) is real. Jesus said to the repentant thief on the cross, “Today you will be with me in Paradise”

Ezekiel saw heaven, and sought to describe the glory of the Lord by using symbols to try to convey when words failed to do it adequately.
Ezekiel 1:1 Now it came about in the 30th year on the 5th day of the 4th month, while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. Read1:4-28 for the details.

Isaiah 6:5 Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips. And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King the LORD of hosts.
