I personally feel that anything is possible and 55 minutes a day is certainly feasable. The trouble comes where we don't make "excersize" a priority.

Many times, we don't make time for ourselves. That's what excersize is - "me time!" We don't think we're worth it. Trust me YOU are worth the time and the effort! Just make the time for YOU!

I was depressed at first after reading that, BUT it doesn't appear that the exercise has to be an intense cardio workout in the gym or anything. I thin you can meet the goal by doing the things that SP suggests to fit extra steps in your day, like parking farther away from stores and walking, taking the stairs, etc.

And ANY exercise is better than nothing - that's how I'm looking at this study.

wow...that does sound like a lot of time.... and difficult to do.... but i'm sure with less time spent travelling to work in sept i'll be able to really get back on track with my exercising......... hopefully!!!

I walk every day on my coffee and lunch breaks during the week, and I try to get outside and do things on weekends. I just need to quit eating or snacking so much. Even if it is healthy, it is getting to be a habit I need to break.
