ooops, totally neglected to read this challenge.... sorry for being so out of touch... i think i'll try this one now ;)
while watching Dr. Phil today, i did....
squats 3 sets, 10 reps
lunges 3 sets, 10 reps
plies 3 sets, 10 reps
calf raises 3 sets, 10 reps
chest press 3 sets,10 reps
deadlift 3 sets, 10 reps
deadrow 3 sets, 10 reps
bicep curls 3 sets, 10 reps
upright row 3 sets, 10 reps
forward raise 3 sets, 10 reps
without extra weight: tricep dips 3 sets, 10 reps
crunches 100
with 9 pounds... side bends 2 sets, 20 reps

I still haven't turned on the tv and I don't miss it.. LOL
I walked to my Mom's house today, which took me 35 minutes one way. I sat and talked with her for an hour and a half, then I walked back home. So I did 70 minutes of walking today..

I did my Kathy Smith walking tape today. Ouch that is hard. I haven't done it in about ten years and somehow I remember it being easier back then or was I in better shape back then. No matter I will persevere and become slim and fit I hope. Have a great day everyone.

Ok, Tuesday night I did my own form of WATP (got tired of Leslie, so I do it without her sometimes) while watching BB Couples- Then last night I didn't have time to be a couch potato, too much going on and we were at the gym longer than normal. But I did do some stretching and jumping jacks before bed.

I forgot to post the last few days. My days have been so busy, That I am getting home at night and there is no TV time so the couch potato did not happen the last few days. I have done some walking but I don't know that it will count because It was not after dinner. I will do one of my goals tonight after dinner.

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite challenges. It stems from one of my own Fast Break goals.

I have found that I have now built a habit (I am a television addict!), so that I can't watch TV without working out - if I HAVE worked out earlier in the day, then I watch the tube while sitting on a stability ball. Crazy, but true. And it is now virtually painless.

So last night I watched a pre-recorded show- I did my own version of WATP during the entire thing- Of course I skipped over the adds, so it was about 40 minutes... Haven't tuned in tot he TV yet tonight as I just got home from work and the gym...

I do tri every morning and every evening. Something one of my other group is doing. Tri bein 5 min. each of strength, floor exercises and aerobics. I found it really useful. I have done it now for four weeks and it has become a part of my routine.

I also use them around the house as I vacuum, do dishes, dust, clean floors, up and down stairs.. ect...

Well, I am in my office at home, on the computer almost all day, everyday, and I have a tv in here. I have my 5 pound weights that I keep next to me and I use them as I read my SP articles everyday, so this will be easy for me to do.. :) I also have ankle weights that I use some days to do leg lefts as I sit here...
So, I have to call my challenge, the chair potato challenge... LOL

Get off the couch this week team!

Your challenge is to do some form of exercise for at least 15 minutes while watching television EVERY day this week. It can be cardio, strength training or a combination of both. You just have to do it for 15 minutes (or more if you wish).
