Yes, I spend a lot of my “damage control” time cleaning up after the dogs... I think in large part why my sweet old girl Clarice wound up being surrendered to the shelter is the fact that she’s never completely housetrained.
I just bundled up my entry-way rug & put it on the “Soak” cycle (generally I’ll wash it every week-10 days). I have a big stack of cotton rugs which can be fairly easily washed & disinfected - Marie would probably recommend I store them in some sort of box, but I haven’t found the right one... Stacking ‘em under my saddle rack is the next best thing for now.

Yay for getting rid of some papers! I did that a while back and it felt good. Still have so much to do though. Endless just spent some time cleaning up 4 things of cat vomit on my bedroom carpet. It's a good thing she's a lovely and sweet and innocent kitty and I love cats. :)

Meanwhile, in teeny tiny baby steps of progress, this morning I’m hauling off a feed sack full of junk mail & other useless papers which have piled up to the recycling bin...
Unfortunately my kitchen counter remains stacked w/ plenty of OTHER papers which need further sorting, but Rome wasn’t built in a Day was it??
And I still need to track down that certified copy of my son’s birth certificate so he can go get his passport renewed in time to come with us to Hubby’s family reunion NEXT MONTH! There’s still time, even if I have to pay an expedited fee.

I have a box of papers I haven't been into since a year and a half. I also have a LOT of books. Most only partly read. I keep picking up more and getting several from the library. Including my Marie Kondo library take home I have 18 other library check outs at the moment. 7 of them need returning because I have decided I don't want to finish them.

Books and Papers I get it.

looking for friends to connect with, get to know, and encourage each other along this journey. :-)
Blessings

I am going through all my books and papers and I now have a bag of papers that I am getting rid of. Took me 2 weeks or so to go through the one desk drawer. Then I have a million magazines. I found someone at work who will take my O magazines but I have to read them first. It's crazy! I also have a ton of books that I am trying to read. I have a ton of books at my mom's house also but I told her I have to work on the one's at my apartment first. I did find 2 books for the yard sale yesterday! Yay!
