Your post written in 2015 and I am reading a lot of useful info in the Chris Beat Cancer website - one came in my email this morning, regarding the use of garlic and lemons:

I had bought his Square One dvd program and just now bought his new book on Amazon so am reading that.

Three rounds of chemo has given me chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy and I’m pretty sure I won’t go back. Started Vitamin C IV therapy and Mistletoe injections - but the beautiful thing about this article is lemons and garlic are readily available here, even organic. Plan to go get some soon today after my meetings.

Dr. Jason Fung: "Holy consensus, Batman. With so many 'experts' from Michelle Obama to the USDA to virtually all of the medical professionals (including doctors and dieticians) agreeing that 'Eat Less, Move More' is the way to go, you might think that it is 100% unquestionably true. But here's a queer thought... if we all agree that we know the cure for obesity, and we've spent billions on educations and programs - why are we getting fatter? In other words, why does this 'cure' suck so bad?

Hi, MAURIZIA.

I hope a lot of people watch, and are open to the conversation that is inspired.

I don't mean to be contentious... but I feel obliged to point out that the statistics you've quoted don't actually demonstrate that "not every cancer patient will die of cancer or side effects of cancer and many live long lives," and they certainly don't include the millions of people who do die... nor do they address the question of which number is bigger - survivals or deaths amongst all who get cancer... for this conversation to be really meaningful both need to be considered... and your statistics definitely don't explain what happens to the 36% of the 14.5 million you mention who don't live 5 years or MORE... yet they are apparently counted as 'survivors'. "?"

Considering the money that is poured into cancer research/treatment (yet parents are still driven to fundraising for treatment to try save their children), I guess I have a greater hope than simply "marginally increased successful care," and a higher standard of successful treatment for myself and my loved ones than a five-year or MORE chance of survival (even saying it in this way implies that survival beyond five years is exceptional).

Everyone I know, regardless of how long they've lived after diagnosis (some longer than 10 years) still died of cancer (secondary, or reoccurring, or new), or of damage to their bodies incurred by chemo and radiation. I will consider myself and my loved ones lucky, and cancer treatment effective, when nobody dies of cancer (or cancer treatment) no matter how long they live beyond initial diagnosis.

I don't believe that 'medicine' should ever be toxic and damaging, and there is growing research to suggest that there are better and more healing ways to treat cancer.

I wonder where cancer treatment and research might be by now had all the money spent on research thus far been spent with the adage "first do no harm" as the guiding principal. Who decided only toxic chemicals would be researched?

I am SO grateful that someone in the medical field, rather than standing on their soapbox of education and credentials (and statistics), is willing to shine a light on the inadequacies and short-comings of conventional medicine and open the conversation up to all of us... for the sake of us all... and to acknowledge that her experience navigating the system is not the norm.

...and a series of articles she also wrote:

...again, I'm not trying to be contentious... just trying to open up the conversation beyond statistics and convention to make it easier for those who wish it, to have the conversations they need to have in light of their own situations.

Thank you for the information on these broadcasts.

What I do know is that there are over 14.5 million cancer survivors in the U.S. I know that it is projected to increase 31% or more in the next 9 years, and that 64% of these 14.5 million people have survived 5 years or MORE. That means not every cancer patient will die of cancer or side effects of cancer and many live long lives.

Are chemo drugs poison? They are. They need to be to kill cancer cells. What I believe is that both traditional and complementary methods of treatment can work together to increase successful care.

I don't know about anyone else, but am VERY curious to hear what Ty Bollinger has to say.

While I know cancer 'survivors' (5 years, 10 years), I know many more who have not survived; and I have not seen conventional cancer treatment and research contribute to anyone's quality of life. Chemo and radiation poison the body, and often leave as many problems as they 'cure' in their wake. I also don't know anyone who got cancer, who doesn't ultimately die of cancer... either because of the effects of treatment, or from secondary cancers that shows up years after they are initially 'cured'.

...I'd also love it if people would watch and come back here to discuss their experience.
