My aunt is 88 years old. I want to be as healthy when I'm that age, too. These good food choices that all of us are making give us energy to workout, loose extra pounds, firm up.

My family has long life spans so I want to be sure I continue that. I'm 68 so far and have zero health problems, am strong, and feisty.

Supplements are something I use daily to ensure my nutrients are well rounded. Each nutrient depends upon another one to be used by my body in the best way.

When I state my daily supplements I am not suggesting that you do the same until you ask your health professional.

Every morning I take cod liver oil, vitamin E, vitamin C.
Mid day I take a B complex that has pantothenic acid, and a acidophilus tablet.
Daily I have plain, home made yogurt.
Every evening I have I cup goat milk with 1 - 2 Tablespoons of brewers yeast powder mixed into it.
For pectin I have 1 Tablespoon of jelly or jam every day.

Dr. McDougall recommends not taking supplements except B12, so that's what I do, and it's working out well, plus it's a lot cheaper. emoticon

800 mg calcium
10 mg iron
5,000 U. vitamin A & 400 U vitamin D
0.8 mg B1
1.2 mg B2
13 mg niacin
70 mg vitamin C

Be hopeful. Feel optimistic about succeeding.
