Glamping: Glamorous camping sounds like fun. My tent will have a hammock in the shade and I will have a hand fan available to create my own breeze. Later, I'll join other team members as we stroll through the tented area on the way to the river to rest and relax.

"Please remember - Wherever we travel itís a lovely summer day and we are physically fit and have ease of mobility."

I am practicing consistency with nutritional planning, exercise planning and following through on my plans. Tomorrow is walking 5 minutes and pool day. My suit, pool shoes, and pedometer are on my rolling walker. My water bottles are filled and ready to go.

Joy is a Choice. Choose joy moment by moment.

When all else fails, persistence prevails.

Injoy:) Carolyn

Not sure what Glamping is. I'm not much of a camper now but used to take youth groups on trips and we did some camping or staying in church basements for the time we were there.

Love camping, we get out as much as we can in the summer. Had to retire our old tent this year. but got 10 good years out of it and tons of memories. Hated to see her go but am excited about making new memories with our new one. Happy camping everyone! emoticon

I'm one of those newbies to this challenge she was talking about. I'll do my best to fulfill all obligations while having fun at the same time. Consistency is what I'm working towards anyway.

I love camping! And after staying in a hostel that was a house at a campground in Ireland, I really have wanted to camp outside the USA and Mexico. Looking forward to seeing where we go!

Note: in all travels we are environmentally sensitive and are not harming the habitat.

Our 2018 Summer 5% Travel Theme - International Camping. Camping is an outdoor activity involving overnight stays away from home in a shelter. We will leave developed areas to spend time outdoors in more natural ones in pursuit of enjoyable activities.

emoticon Spark 5% Challengers are VIP's so we are GLAMPING, AKA luxury or glamorous camping accommodations, complete with full guest services. Unlike tenting, everything is already set up. ready for you to move in! Your team will have a choice of structures - yurts, teepees, pods, bell tents, vintage trailers, safari tents, tent cabins, and tree houses. In the evenings enjoy gourmet Spark meals around a campfire and local entertainment before retiring to your comfy bed.

emoticon Our Summer 5% Living the Good Life (LTGL) theme is Consistency, the pattern in your behavior. To find healthy consistency in life, you need to accept routine in your methods, habits and ways of thinking. This will help you persevere through hard times and periods of personal doubt. Personal success starts with building a more stable way of living for yourself and commit to positive change. At any point in the day you know what you 'should' be doing to stay on track.

As we learn here at Spark, it takes consistent work, with daily exercise and mindful meal planning, to become healthier. We will focus on exercise, diet, healthful habits, team support and positive thinking. For 56 days we will work the Spark Program together and get the results we deserve.

emoticon We have a large number of Members new to Spark and/or the 5% Challenge. If you have questions along the way, please post on your Team Discussion Boards or send a Spark Mail to your Team Leaders. Experienced Challengers - please watch for new challengers and help them along, thanks.

Some of the Challenges may be things you are already doing and you are to be commended, it will be easy for you to contribute points to your team. For some of us, these Challenges really will challenge us as we work on developing healthy new habits. Stay positive about accepting the Challenges and maybe stepping outside your comfort zone. Our last weigh in will be Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Although the LTGL Challenge changes weekly, Challengers are encouraged to do their best to continue each challenge throughout the entire 8 weeks. It's not about going from one healthy change to another, but more about making each healthy change a habit.

We ask that while you do the Weekly Challenge, you add it from the Team Goal and do your best to continue doing it throughout the entire 8 week Challenge. There are no additional points for adding the goal; it's just something to help us reinforce our good habits. ADDING THE GOAL IS OPTIONAL!
