I had a goal to lose 5 pounds a month in 2020. A 60 pound weight loss for the year. That is not going so well. I've gained a few pounds this year instead.

This spring we did pick up hiking in the woods that is a quick trip. That was a sweaty fun time. We would go with mom after she got done with work. Then summer hit and we are in the south and it's been a few months since we've gone hiking.

Mom went on a shopping spree and got a rowing machine and a treadmill on two different trips to Academy. I've used both more than she has. The treadmill causes to many problems with my left foot hurting so I don't enjoy it as much even with the new sneakers from Fleet Feet.

I've been trying to go to bed at 9pm more often than not. I don't expect to be in bed at 9pm every single night. It is easier to put my 3 year old to bed than it is my 11 year old. I do feel better when I get more sleep.

Not much of a "resolutions"" type of gal. Last year I picked a word of the year and made it a habit. 2019s word was F O C U S. That worked great! In that Spark way, I'm now focused in 2020 focusing further on enjoyable, not just the productive. For a number of reasons, I'm expecting this year to be like a wild roller coaster ride.

So far, I've streaked a week of doing daily fix videos, kept up with blogilates #2020Challenge, continued rebounding and walking daily, as well as completing (yes, already) the A.I. scholarship program I was in and the fiton 2020 challenge. I'm doing a new challenge with them this next week.

2020 is fun!

My word for 2020 is "intentional".

My goals are:

1) Be intentional in all aspects of my life
This includes work, home, money, faith, my words, my time, health and relationships.

2) Be more involved at church.
I currently am on the hospitality team and co-manage the coffee bar but want to do more. I will start working with the middle school, high school, and young adult youth starting in February. I also want to attend more women's group events this year (I went to one last year).

3) Plan an "actual game night" or afternoon.
Some friends and I get together every year around Christmas for an ornament exchange party. We usually end up playing a game, and the last 2 years we talked about having "an actual game night" but we never get around to it.

4) Let go of the past.

5) Do a random act of kindness monthly.
I will definitely do more than one a month, but I want to pick a specific person each month to do something extra special for.
