Not sure that it is a tip or trick per say, but I have been eating 95% veggies, 3% fruit and around 2% meat. I have completely cut out sodas, processed food, dairy and breads on a daily basis, but I will eat a little bread or something else if that is all that is presented at a group dinner as I don't want to not be part of the group. I just take a smaller portion and take a long time eating it so that I eat as little as possible of the not so good for you stuff.

So far it has worked. Very few if any cravings for the breads and processed foods, which I have been extremely surprised as I have been addicted to breads my whole life.
