I kind of thought that I wasn't workIng very hard as why my arms weren't very sore after a work out. Great thought.

Wow, I have noticed that I can exercise at a much more intensive level without the aches and pains I used to have. This could be partly why.... I still need to credit leaving the 35 lb pack behind with some of it too though! LOL

Really!? More incentive to get back into keto! I've kinda been avoiding exercise because I have a lot of memory of DOMS related muscle aches and pains. Good to know!! Thanks!!

I have a theory that when you burn carbs you leave lactic acids in your muscles. It flushes out slowly, but if you do a lot of exercise or physical work, it doesn't all flush out, and your muscles feel sore.

You attribute the soreness to over exertion, too much physical activity, when it is actually chemical (or biochemical).

When you burn fats as your major calorie source you don't have this issue, you walk more, or exercise more, and you are less sore than before because there is no lactic acid. I know I can do a lot of home renovations, and I never have any sore muscles the next day.

Does anyone else have similar experiences?
