Avery...i find splitting it up to be helpful. Both my PT and my orthopod feel that doing anything for more than 10 mins at a time to be beneficial, and both approve of my 15 min or half hour at a time as long as i get in 2 full hours a day. makes it easier for me, too..today i went to the bakery and decorated some pretty intricate cookies that took me 2 hours. then i swam for half an hour doing laps..back to the bakery decorated one cake...back to pool. ran errands..had lunch, jumped in pool...did another cake...another half hour of laps, and finished the last cake and cupcake order and now i'm jumping in again and taking my supper with me to eat poolside. I'm very lucky to have my pool but when its not pool weather i do the same thing walking.

I usually exercise throughout the day. So far, I've done seated leg extensions for 25 minutes and rode my stationary bike for 35 minutes.

2 hours laps in the pool, walked a mile, and did an arm workout with weights.
