I have exercised from day one of keto with no adverse effects, but i was already used to it. I have a strict 2 hour a day no excuses order from my doc...and i follow what he tells me so i can stay walking. most days i break it up into half hour or 15 min segments, depending on my workload, but i never miss, and havent in 5 years..even on sick days. no adverse effects..no problems.
I agree with James that you dont jump in your first days on keto..give your body a chance to adjust and start slow when you do start. Thats sound, good advice for any program. I spend a lot of days every year at PT and whenever they start me on something new, we start slow and work up, so I can continue without having to take time off to recouperate from an injury.

I do both cardio and but focus more on strength, if I am ever in a crunch for time I do strength training. I really like HIIT its a short intense workout, but wait until fat adapted.....You will definitely be burning lots of fat with HIIT!

i've never heard anyone say not to? I do a combination of walking or swimming 2 hours a day, adding in beachbody upper, lower and cardio days, and weights.
