I just checked and have 1,428 straight days exercising 10 min's a day. Once I start have always gone beyond 10 min's. Now I'm sure to exercise every day as don't want to break that streak.

I haven't been good at my exercise streaks, but started a new one, to exercise 10 minutes/day, and am committed to keeping it going. I find that I usually do longer (20 minutes or more), but knowing that I only HAVE to do 10 minutes helps a lot.

Today I hit the 900 day streak of exercising at least 10 minutes a day. Now I just have to keep it going. I've never only done 10 minutes, have always done more. I love that it keeps me accountable.

Today marks 867 days of at least 10 minutes exercise per day. I've built it up to an average of at least 30 minutes a day, but it was closer to 10 when I started. I stay motivated because I don't want to break the streak.

I do mini streaks on the exercise bike and it sometimes adds up to 10,000 steps! You don't need to do all at once! emoticon emoticon I love my Samsung fit 2 It works for me! emoticon

Thinking of only needing to do 10 minutes of exercise sounds so much better than 45 minutes.
Amazing how many times that 10 minutes leads to 15-20 or even 30. I Love It

My spider bites are healing and I can get back to working in my yard when all this daily rain quits. It has rained every day for the past week. I'm looking forward to getting back to work on my yard which is full of broken branches and I swear the grass has grown a foot, LOL emoticon emoticon

I have been doing 90 minutes or more of exercise for 39 weeks streak. I am starting a 10min a day streak for core/ab exercises. Today I did a sparkvideo for the 10 minutes.

Fran,
I renewed my club membership - had not been going for a while.
And am planning for 3 days a week, also - Mon, Wed, and Fri.
Decided the only was to go regularly is to schedule as I do my other appointments and commitments. Seems that is the only way I will actually get there.

Just got home from there - had planned just 10 minutes on the treadmill - but did 15.
So off to a good start.

Thank you for this. I love streaks. My exercise streak has always been for 240+ minutes of exercise per week - last week I completed my 65th week! I have just added the 10 minutes of exercise streak and have completed my first 6 days. I've also added having a healthy breakfast every day to my goals.

Because of time constraints I now keep track of my streaks in a day planner that I check every evening to create the next day's to-do list. Over the years I've done many mini-streaks while ditching or creating habits. However one tracks it, streaking works!

Thanks for this lesson...and the Small Goals Commitment Challenge.
Every time I reach a goal, other emerge. Rather exciting, isn't it, to always look forward to those new goals!?!
