Yes you just put in your miles for the day. A lot of us either use a pedometer or know the mileage of the routes we walk. Most pedometers will give you your distance in miles if you have it set up for that.

Hi, I read your 2014 Virtual Walk/Run Thread. Sorry, but I have no clue what to do. I am not a dumb people, I did not see any specific instructions. Do you just write down your miles for the day? Are your miles determined by your steps?

This is the mileage calculation I use:

Height - Steps per Mile
4'10" - 2,601
4'11" - 2,557
5'0" - 2,514
5'1" - 2,473
5'2" - 2,433
5'3" - 2,395
5'4" - 2,357
5'5" - 2,321
5'6" - 2,286
5'7" - 2,252
5'8" - 2,218
5'9" - 2,186
5'10" - 2,155
5'11" - 2,125
6'0" - 2,095
6'1" - 2,067
6'2" - 2,039
6'3" - 2,011
6'4" - 1,985

Sorry that I am questioning this. However, I feel that more information given, the more people know and will participate. And I am a person who wants to know how to do something and do it correctly.

Hi and welcome to the team

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.
