The loss of my partner in life as I once knew him. My husband had a massive stroke in May, 2019. After 7 months, he is home now. I'm so grateful to still have him in my life! emoticon

This is difficult.. My mother died in 2006.. i was blessed to be with her when she died.. She was ill and had went into hospice.. so her death was expected..we had time to say our long goodbyes and to set some things straight..losing someone is never easy no matter it comes..grief comes in stages as I am sure you know..just about the time you think you are through it...here come the feelings again..there is no magic words to make it better..all I can is leave with you is ..Don't cry because it is over, smile because you have the memories..(paraphrasing)..Dr. Suess... come as many times as you need.. to talk, to write about your loss.. I care..Grief is something that touched us all in some way....

My sister just had a heart attack and coded. I recently lost another sister in June due to cancer. I just found out one of my old customers from a restaraunt I used to work at, had just passed away in his sleep. He still was pretty young. It's bringing back memories of my sister who passed. Very sad......but trying to move forward. emoticon

Will be seeing my sister next week in Florida, who has stage 4 colon cancer. She has been trying different treatment and has already gone farther than doctors thought. Working on more treatment.

I am so very sorry Deby. But thank you so much for the words of wisdom.

Today I am triggered by Mary Tyler Moore's death. She was a childhood favorite and my brother's also. Triggering a lot of emotions today. emoticon

Thank you so much Deby. This is great. I am grieving a loss of my childhood playing with my brother and losing friends as I became disabled. I thought I had some true friends in my previous jobs, but found they disappointed me a lot. In the inaugauration, former President Bush had put in a letter that "you will find friends will disappoint you"...and that was spot on how I felt.

Wow! it did feel better to get that out! Thank you!
