Only maintained this week. Guess I'm the only one who didn't lose, but I'm sure glad I don't have to report a gain.

I can report a half pound loss this week! emoticon I'm happy with that, I truly thought after spending a few days at my daughters that I would gain this week.
Now I know I have to work hard this week!

I lost .4 lbs.

Not 1 lb. But at least it's a loss. I am working at staying within my calorie range too. I often go over.

I think this weekly challenge will be just what I need to get myself going in the right direction.

Thanks for this idea of a weekly challenge. I've lost 2 lbs and won't have to carry this around with me all day long:

Now the challenge will be trying to keep it off while dropping another pound.

Rrrrg - up 1.6 lbs.

Gotta get my head back in the game so my body will follow.

Like 1ZIPPYC I've been slacking. Not just for a little bit though, but for quite awhile. I know it and am fully aware of how unfair I'm being to myself. I've been tracking my weight and can see the results up 1 or 2, down 1, staying the same. This would be great if I was in maintenance, but not there yet.

So, I'm still in that cycle where if I lose 30 lbs and start feeling good about myself, even proud, cause it is hard work I then slip into the sabotage mode. The only difference this time is I'm aware and this is the last leg of my journey so I will not give up trying to move forward. It's because of God and you SP that I have come this far and I thank each of you.

The journey is hard, but there are many blessings to be found and given along the way.....

I just saw the blog you where you posted it under question of the day. It is overwhelming just reading the blog. It shows me I have some work to do! Been slacking off lately! I got up and did 33 min. of exercise this morning-haven't done that in a LONG time! emoticon

I have already lost a pound as of this morning. But, it was only losing the pound I gained last weekend. That is what I mean about not weighing in on Sunday...it will not show a loss, I want to know what I weigh as the weekend starts. I really am working on that issue of weekend eating. Told DH last night-sternly-lets not make this a weekend like others-he thinks it is a free for all time to eat. I don't know why he feels like that-he lost 80 pounds and then started this bad habit again. Guess what he has gained 17 of them back! It is a challenge to say the least - for the weekends, being a binge eater and stress eater from my past. Counting the calories keeps me focused. But, obviously it isn't enough---got to strengthen my willpower a lot more!!!!!! emoticon

My husband got on the scale just now and has lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks! First time he got on the scale since then! He was at his highest - the gain of 17 pounds a that time. emoticon He is going to help me get through this challenge and perhaps lost more himself! emoticon

I read that blog and found it very interesting. My eating was off today and not in a good way, I allowed myself to eat things I shouldn't have. Dealing with a painful, medical intestinal disease today, while traveling---not good. Fruits and veggies were a no go today. Exercise was one small walk.

Connie, Are you still tracking your food intake? I find that it's the only thing that works for me in my effort to lose. Preplanning for the day makes such a difference. But, in the meantime, take that .7 instead of 2 lbs as a victory.

I did better over the weekend with my eating...Yay! This time I only gained .7 instead of 2 pounds like normal. Got to stop this trend of overeating on the weekend, losing ground of the good I did before the weekend. I am a work in progress. I will lose this pound this week, if it half kills me! emoticon emoticon

Being 'slightly off' and Monday being my day to weigh, I am starting today at 288. My final weigh-in will be on Dec 31 which is a Monday and if I counted correctly is 26 weeks from today. I am hoping I can squeeze in a couple extra pounds to get down to 260. We'll see how it goes but that is about the weight I was when I quit SP in around March 2017 and gained this weight back.

I have been working to get back on track since my 2 1/2 long back and forth in and out of the hospital journey. I am getting there.

I'm getting back to my regular exercise routine. Even did a 21 min. Walk in 92 degrees this afternoon! emoticon Weekends are so hard for me eating wise! Will try to do better as time goes on! I will lose during the week then gain it back over the weekend! Grrrrrr Sunday weigh ins will be tricky! Due to the fact I prefer Friday before the weekend and way after the weekend the next week! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I did pretty well today with exercise and diet. That is, until a friend brought cheesecake for dessert. I'm going now to finish my tracking and see exactly what damage that did!

I am just giving a little mini pep talk. emoticon
So what you want to do if you didn't already was weigh yourself and usually when you first get up is the best time before the coffee and breakfast.
..... The next is you do all you have learned with Sparks in the way of daily exercise, keeping your calories within your range and tracking all your foods and of course getting your water in an trying to get a good nights sleep!...

Then next Sunday when you get up you will take your weight again to see how much weight you lost. Our goal is a minimum of 1 pound per week. The goal is Sunday through Sunday and then you start all over again which will carry us all the way until January 1.

The good news is starting now with a 1 pound per week loss we could potentially lose a minimum of 25 pounds by January 1! Sounds good??

If you have any questions please let myself or the other two leaders know because we would be glad to help you!.... Also a support system within our team is only going to strengthen and reinforce our goals all the more so let's get going!
