My sinuses were acting up yesterday and I didn't have the oomph to do much of anything. But I did my strength program today in honor of the Patriots' win!

48 squats

48 lunges

75 heel raises

51 wall push ups

39 standing shoulder abductions with a green resistance band

O M G!!!!!! WHAT A GAME! I was on the EDGE of my seat the whole game.
We had to watch the whole game at the sports bar; bc AT&T VERSE decided we didn't need to get the NFL NETWORK anymore! That ended up costing me a LOT of money!
Our waitress ended her shift at 6 PM.....so....my husband OVER TIPPED HER.....THEN...he felt guilty about taking a table from the next waitress.....so...he threw HER another $5.00...for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR US!!!!!!!!!!

It's o.k., tho....bc THE PATRIOTS WON!!!!!!!! emoticon

It's Saturday, and we are playing the Buffalo Bills at home at 4:30. I'm stressed about the game so I will be doing these exercises to keep my stress level down. I sure hope I need to do lots of push-ups and lots of squats. It would also be great to get in plenty of plank time.

Here's how we do it.

Every time the Patriots get a 1st down: 5 squats

Every time the Patriots score a touchdown: 7 push-ups or modified push-ups

Every time the Patriots score a field goal: 3 lunges, on each side.

Every time the Patriots score a safety: 2 Burpees or 5 Bridges

Every time the Patriots hold Bills to no gain or a loss: 15-second plank (or 30-second if you prefer) or modified plank

Every time the Patriots make an interception: 10 calf raisers

This is just for fun. Only do what is safe for you or feel free to substitute a different exercise. Post your accomplishments on this thread tomorrow.
