Yesterday was my first day back on the Keto diet. It felt so good not eating candy and just saying no to sugar. I know that I will feel sick when ketosis kicks in but my goal is to lose weight.
I will be weighing daily for the first week so here goes. My previous low was 157 so I want to beat that. Thanks for your support. We can do this together. Nov 1 163.8

Nov 4 161 I had to step on the scale twice to make sure.
Nov 5 159.8 Great to be back in the 150's

I started knitting a sweater to keep my hands and brain busy in the evening. You can't munch and knit at the same time. I am trying to get a good weigh in on Monday. Have a good week end.

FANCY- This beginning of this season is the worst for wanting comfort foods when the weather turns chilly. Don't give up! . I am going through the same thing here. I cut way back on some regular foods I usually eat and enjoyed a large hot bowl of veggie soup. I just needed it.

No guilt- just moved on. Hang on. Just think where you will be if you give in to total temptation.

Ever since the weather has turned cold I have been wanting and eating comfort food with bad consequences. my weight is up quite a bit and I was going to quit dieting. Then I thought about where that would get me, fatter and miserable. Never quit trying. 163 pounds.

I had two days that were so bad that I didn't even record them in the food log. We were out running errands and needing a quick bite so we went to DQ for a burger, onion rings and diet drink before an afternoon stage play. Then for supper we had lasagnia? My weight was up five pounds the next day. I haven't been to the gym in days so I am not getting my steps in.
It all adds up to disaster. I had under 800 calories yesterday and the scale is not budging. I am not hoping for much on Monday. Looks like we all gained this week.

FANCY-- As you can see I also have a gain. It was a bad week ( or two) Just look forward and just start over.
My opinion is that the less we eat the more we seem to gain.
( been there done that - it does not work!)

I just jump right back to restricting my carbs and eat my ( Keto ) food plan. That is the only way to go forward. Never look back. None of us are perfect.

Darlene None of us are perfect. I for one struggle with weight as I have arthritis in my knees so walking is slow and painful.
I for one don't look at the number you post - I look to see who is getting somewhere with their weightloss journey.
The more of us who post, being honest (just like you have said) the more we can encourage others in this.

So thank you very much for posting and being honest

I would like to lose 6 pounds. Thank you Kathleen for starting this thread. It gives us a place to be accountable each week even if we only lose two pounds a month. In a year that's twenty four pounds. We can do it.
