Agree with every point you've made. The ultimate goal is remaining functionally stable and independent! Feeling healthy! I spent enough years before finally finding out about my thyroid and diabetes problems, that I never want to go back there.

Nutrition, exercise, sleep, hydration, staying on top of my #'s -- know your cholesterol, blood sugar, triglyerides, blood pressure. All those are super important. And keep up with my health care provider annually and if there are any changes -- also super important.

Love is the root of all things good in life.

What motivates me is preserving the quality of life and promoting longevity. What's the point of suffering from preventable or manageable degenerative health conditions, especially in retirement?
Getting 7-8 hours of sleep every night, being physically active, having a positive and supportive partner, following the NUTRITARIAN Diet, managing my weight, effectively managing stress and maintaining a good attitude goes a long way to preserving or regaining health. By also making sure my BMI, blood pressure and heart rate are optimal, along with taking specific supplements matched up to my genetics, annual lab tests and medical concerns, and am still going strong and not wasting money on prescription medications that expose me to side effects.

TODAY Is MY tomorrow. It's up to ME to shape it, To TAKE CONTROL and seize EVERY opportunity. The POWER is in the choices I make EVERY day. I eat well, I live well I SHAPE ME!

THE EMPOWERED LIFE. EXPECT IT . BELIEVE IT. RECEIVE IT.
The human will is the most incredible thing. It's what keeps us going when everyone else expects us to quit.

THIS MEANS WAR AGAINST FAT:
I'm too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful, and too determined to be defeated.
