the rest of my homebrew beer needs to be bottled soon
given a quantity of 9 liters
I have decided to prime with honey including leatherwood honey
At 3.5 grams per 750 ml bottle at 80% solids in honey
(3.5 x 9 x 4)/3 = 42
(42 x 100)/80 = 52.5 grams of honey required
This would be predissolved in a small amount of water, mixed into the drum, stirred then bottled
Cheers Richard

Kombucha tea is something we make an occasional batch of.

Once you have a scoby it is not necessary to use sweetened tea as a base, you can use fruit juice as well(or flavor with fruit juice).

Cheers

Hi Rose,
There are lots of recipes, sauces and dressings that can be used in, as well, but we dont play around with them.

Kefir is the most-made low fuss recipe we use at home.

Basically just add a culture to 1 litre of milk in a jar and keep the lid loose.

After about 26 hours, refrigerate and have a cupfull a day.

When there is 1/2 a cup left use it for you next batch with another litre of milk.

You can use reconstituted milk made from powder to save money
Cheers
