my cardio should probably be more, as I play the piano/organ for church=and with church, rehearsal, etc...

yep that is all correct. I worked hard, and would have had more cardio in, but the weather worked against us on Tues getting to the Y, and I was sick on Wed.

WOW Babikax ... am I reading that correctly??? did you lose 13+ pounds this week. I think that will put you at the top of our leader board.

Boy am I discouraged! emoticon I'm going the wrong way! I've made a decision that the scale is my enemy. It is ruling what I feel about myself. My wife encouraged me today and asked me to focus on the positive choices I've been making, not the number on the scale. Not being able to to cardio has also affected my blood sugar readings! I'm going to set shorter goals to lose weight instead of a the one I have.

Here is where you weigh in to register for the mini challenge for the first week in January.

The format will be as follows:
Each day you will get 1 point for drinking 8 glasses of water ... 1 point for eating 5 fruits and vegetables ... 1 point for tracking your food.
you will get 3 points for doing the daily exercise challenge (30 minutes of cardio or 30 minutes of strength-1 point for each 10 minutes) ... and an extra 1 point for each pound you lose in a week.

You will have to post the points you've earned each day so I have an accurate tally at the end of the week. I'll add up points posted by 11pm Friday, January 9 and I'll post a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher on Saturday January 10.
