emoticon So ... Teams ... where are all our weigh-in totals ... I'm all ready to record them and only have a few from each team.

Remember, if you think you won't be able to weigh-in on Saturday ... you can post early on Friday. That's 2 days you can do that!!!

emoticon It's hard to figure out weight gain loss if there are no posts.

And ... don't worry if you stay even or gain a little ... that happens to all of us. The idea is to have a fun way to help you keep focused for a few weeks. Sort of a mini challenge.

This is what we have so far ... but it's not too late to sign up. I'll be posting new members to the teams for week 1 by Saturday. If you can weigh in on that day you can still join for week 1. After that you will be able still be able to sign-p with your weigh in on each Saturday. If you are already signed up for all 3 weeks you don't need to do anything more than weigh in with your team each week.

I'll create a planning thread for each team ... pick your team leader, your team name, assign a few jobs (someone to keep track of weight loss each week, another to give little fitness challenges throughout the week etc.) and plan some strategies. Good luck to everyone ... and lets see how much total weight we can lose before the holidays.

Welcome Susan!!!

If you are up for all three weeks you are already signed up ... all you needed to do was let us know. I'll be posting teams tomorrow, so check out what team you are on (I'll also create an organizing thread for each team) and discuss strategies, team name etc with other team members and your team leader will start your team thread by Saturday. You will have to post your starting weight sometime before 11 PM saturday ... and every saturday until the challenge has ended. Check in with your team often to see what is going on ...

One more note for the November BIO Challenge ... when you weigh-in we need your weight total ... not just the number of pounds you have gained or lost.

Also ... PLEASE ... round your weight (up or down) to the nearest whole number ... this makes it so much easier to tally the losses at the end of each week.

I'll post the teams on Wednesday after I return from my Symposium so have your names ready and be thinking of strategies now.

Don't forget to think about team jobs:
Team leader - checks in on everyone
Record keeper - takes the weights and tally's loss at the end of each week
Chef - provides a few recipes for the team
Trainer - offers fitness suggestions
Cheerleader - helps motivate the team
