Thanks, but I don't think it worked for me either, this morning I am feeling really yucky. Two staff are already out so that only leaves two of us here so I am going to have to suck it up and work through it.

I got my flu shot last Wed. but I guess it doesn't cover all strains. Well here I go second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour. I will get through it. The every part of me hurts and I just feel like blaaaaaaah!

Thank for the idea of Captain and tonic, gonna give it a try.

Spent the week-end in a Semi. I took grapes and apples and 100 calorie cookies with me to help tide me over till we could stop to eat. I tried to be careful when choosing foods but when you are on the go and cant always stop when you are hungry we took subs, but I only ate half the bread of a 6" combo. And the one night that we did get to stop I had steak, baked potato, (6) breaded shrimp and the salad bar. We did get to walk around the parking lot and to the lounge of a hotel so I hope I did okay. Today I am feel a little sick. Everyone around my office is coughing, sneezing, aching, so I am hoping I don't catch anything. I am staying in my office hoping not to catch anything.

Well enough of me going on and on.

Hope everyone is staying warm and healthy.

I hope I missed something somewhere ... but I went back over our starting weights and could only find your SW as 196 ... you still did amazing for the 3 week challenge ... that's 5 pounds gone in just 3 short weeks!

Weighed in today too. Loss of 1.5 pounds. I'm happy with a consistent loss. I'm also hoping that once my schedule gets settled in more, I'll be able to hit the gym for more strength training.

My 3 pound loss was too good to be true... I'm up 1.5 pounds (178.5) I didn't do as much running this week though so now I know what I have to do to lose more weight- CARDIO OUT THE WA-ZOO! emoticon

Jackie ... I'm a captains girl too!!! have you ever tried it with tonic and a twist of lemon???

Alethia ... don't get too discouraged ... it might be a little muscle gain. You do a lot in that department ... and sooner or later you will start losing again. Hang in there!

Weight for 10/24 174, no lost, no gain YEPPPPIE

Diabeties meds are causing me to retain water along with the salty foods/alcohol(can't give up Captain & Diet coke, to much stress happening).

So the doctors has me increasing my water pills to three times a week. So I am hoping I can loose some water weight next time.

Have a great week, off for a week end of trailer trucking with hubby.

I'll have to figure out another way to Kill kalories tomorrow. I'm so not exageratting when I say that I really truly do not get to sit down and watch tv at all. The only tv I watch is what is on when I do my workouts in the morning. I don't even listen to it because I'm jamming away with my iPod. I just like a little visual stimulation. I can't wait till my schedule settles down a little at work. :)

Sorry I didn't get a challenge posted for today- but I had a rough night last night & a busy day today! I did slaughter over a thousand calories reffing today!

Hey Team, I just got good news. I am finally after 4 1/2 weeks going to meet with the neurosurgeon to talk about having my spinal cord stimulator implanted. I can't wait. I am hoping that once I get the implant I can get some sleep and be more energized. Which in turn means get more active. YEPPIEEEE!!!!!

Better Choices = Better attitude = happier me!!!!!

I'm looking forward to a long day on Tuesday with the bathroom squats. My body still hasn't adjusted to drinking 10 glasses of water a day, so I'll be doing a lot of squats. Wonder what they'll think of me in the bathroom at work? Lol!

Thanks for the receipe, it sounds better with the garlic then the dill. I was so hunger this week-end for chocolate that I could of ate a bear. I survied with out eating any. I also made better choices for myself this week-end so I am hoping that I can but those nasty thoughts of old comfort foods out of my head and put new ones in.

I worked outside with my hubby and grandkids hanging halloween decoration and stacking wood so I hope the more active I get the better I will feel. I love the cooler weather so I am hoping to get out and enjoy it before Mr. Winter comes.

Beckky, I did weigh in yesterday morning, but I left the house at 5:30, and wasn't home to stay until after 10:30 last night, and was way to tired to get on the computer. If you want to accept it, OK, and if not, OK too.

Unfortunately, I gained one pound.-214. Yuck. I won't be here this weekend at all, I leave Friday morning and won't be back until Tuesday night. If I can find both scales and a computer, I'll post, if not, ..unless I send it Friday morning before I leave. Letme know what you'd like me to do.

Sorry guys. I apologize for not being around at all in the past week. I've been completely miserable and sick. Upper respiratory infection, I haven't been able to exercise, since I haven't been able to breathe at all lately, even when I'm just sitting still. I'm better now though, at least enough to get back on track.
I did drop 1.5 pounds last week. Bringing me down to 192.5 lbs.

I'm with you Jackie- I have a hard time keeping my motivation to eat right & exercise this time of year. The temps start falling, there's fewer hours of daylight & my body tries to revert to hibernation mode. Right now I'm craving warm, comfort foods like a bear gorging on salmon before its long winter sleep! emoticon
All we can do is just keep trying & pushing ourselves & each other! I've been looking for warm, comfort food recipes on SparkPeople & cooking them. I've found this has helped in 2 ways- it keeps me busy & warm (no time to eat junk when I'm fussing with the hot stove); and I'm satisfying my cravings with healthier options. emoticon
I hope this will help to encourage you...even if it's just a bit. Remember- we're all in this together! emoticon

You're challenge for today: Incorporate something FUN into your fitness routine today! Here are a few ideas...

*Play frisbee (with a friend or pet)
*Go shopping & try on outrageous outfits
*Take a walk through a park & enjoy the fall colors
*Play at a playground (Swing, slide & climb- bring out your inner child!)
*Challenge a family member to some mini-golf (or regular golf)

Whatever you do today- ENJOY! Sometimes we work so hard on our fitness that we forget that it can & should be fun! emoticon

And don't forget...tomorrow is weigh in!

It's recommended that everyone drink 8- 8oz glasses of water everyday (64 oz total). So if you got 80 oz- you're good! What I try to do is keep 3- 20 oz bottles filled in the frig. I refill them every night & keep track that way. I pick up the last 4 oz by using a separate glass of water to take my daily vitamin & medication. In no time- I've met my daily requirement! emoticon

what size of glass of water is usualy recommend?? 8 oz, 12, or 16 oz---I think I drank at least 80 oz

You're challenge for today is to take extra steps! It doesn't have to be an extra walk or an extra block of work-out time. Just extra steps here & there! Try some of these ideas...

*Park in the farthest spot in the parking lot.
*Walk the dog instead of using the tie out or fenced yard.
*Clear off the dining table 1 or 2 pieces at a time rather than by armful.

Take a few extra steps today & let's Kill some more Kalories!!

Had a soccer game tonight. Played 38 mins and Killed 413 Kalories! Boy did I NEED it!!

Good afternoon Kalorie Killers!

I hope everyone had a chance to get out and walk today before the rain comes. DH and I have been working on getting our wood put in before the cold weather comes.

My eating habits have been bad lately. I'm just not very motivated lately. I needs some booty kickin to snap out of what ever mood this is.

Hi you guys,

Checking in. I had to work all weekend so I was sooo tired. Well I plan on going into the curves center sometime today. I did not make it in at all last week d/t a really bad schedule with work and appts. for the kids. Calgon take me away. Yesterday when I got home I just veged out and watched a lot of horror movies. I love the stuff even though it is totally dumb. HE HE!! Oh well I guess its the kid still in me. emoticon

On a late note that wont help our team today. I did a after the weekend weigh in. i am down to 202.4 from the 204. I was Friday when I checked, i have so mush water weight at times it kills me. Espc. during the time of the month, Hopefully it will stay off for the next weigh-in so we can squash our numbers from lat week. LETS GO GIRLS!!!! WE CAN WE CAN!!!!
