Went to the gym and did the circut training machines

Saturday night we had family over. Before she got to my house my sister in law fell and broke her hip, leg, and foot. She is having surgery today. We are tired...

Starting at noon, count your steps for today (or at least the next 12 hours)! The team that posts the most combined steps gets an extra 2 points for today!

Thanks Becky for the goodie. I do a yoga pose called the waterfall. If you lay on the floor with your legs up on a chair while you relax and meditate it will redistribute your blood through your body. It really makes me feel better. It also relieves some of the swelling in my legs. Happy weekend. MJ

Tuesday's Fitness Challenge:

TUESDAY IS BONUS DAY

Do a Spark People exercise ... Pick from: Band work, Stability Ball, Palates, Stretching, Yoga etc. When you have finished pass the exercise on to someone in your family, and to someone in one of the other families. If you can't do the exercise passed to you, pick something from the video's that you can do and then pass that one on. Let's see how many different exercises we can do.
You will earn 1 pt for each exercise ... up to 4.

You can't copy and paste the web site from the September challenge page. I found that if you click on that link and copy the url then come back to your Family thread and paste that into the link it will work fine.

12 glasses of water ( I am fighting a cold so I tend to suck the water more)I walked for 15 minutes. I am going at 7 to check out the new fitness center at 12th and Pittsburg ave.They say its only 20 bucks a month. I am curious about the catch......

Here we go gals! Today is weigh in! Remember to check this weekend's challenges!

WATER - 8 glasses a day
FOOD - Eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables
FITNESS - try to walk at least 5000 steps each day ... that is almost 2 miles.
