I did 12,000 steps yesterday, 10,000 steps the day before. I drank 8 glasses of water and ate 5 fruits and vegetables. Did the upper and lower body exercises. Today 8 glasses of water, 5 fruits and vegetables, 10,000 steps, and core exercises for the middle.

Yesterday 8 glasses of water. 10,000 steps, 40 wall push-ups, 5 fruits and veggies. I am still 154 so I didn't lose but didn't gain. My Dr. wants me to eat more so that I will start losing. Which is very hard for me. emoticon

I'll be weighing in...and actually kinda looking forward to it. I haven't had/made time to enter my food lately but I've been using the quick tracker for water & fruits & veggies. I've been somewhat careful but I haven't been great. I've also not worked out quite as much as I'd like. I'm just tired too much...I know exercise helps that! I plan to Crossfit tonight.
Yesterday: 10cups of water, only 3 freggies (fruits & veggies), and no exercise (although grocery shopping with a 4yr old & 7 month old should constitute!) haha

I got home from dinner about an hour ago and got right on the elliptical. I did 50 minutes and got over 4 miles.

I am not getting on the scale until Friday morning. I already took a sneak peak the other day and did not like what I saw.

I'm going to give you a challenge for today. If you watch tv, I want you to workout during 2 commercials. You can stand up and march in place, if you have a mini tramp, jump on it during the commercials, run up and down the steps, you get it, just move.

Sherry, sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your vehicle. I just went thru the same thing. I ended up having to trade my SUV in. I didn't want to, but it was just costing to much to keep it running.

I'm eating out again tonight. (With a friend) I know my weigh in on Friday is not going to be good. I've stayed in my calorie range, but the sodium has been terrible. Hubby and I are eating out on Friday too. Oh well, next week, I'm going to kick some serious fat to the curb because I've certainly blown it this week. I did do my strength training today and will do my elliptical tomorrow morning before work. I'd like to maintain, but realistically I know that's not going to happen.

I'll check in later ladies. Hope you both hava a wonderful day. :)

Shelly and I haven't set a date yet but it will be soon. Since my car is at the transmission shop I have to take the bus back and forth to work (an hour). I have been drinking my 8 glasses of water every day, eating my 5 and sometimes more fruits and vegetables, and walking 10,000 steps a day. I am also riding my stationary bike for 15 minutes and doing the 15 minute desk workout. I am going to up the stationary bike to 25 minutes daily.

I think I'd love to join you. I can't be much help as I haven't been so good at any of the challenge yet. I DO drink my 8 cups every day...I've streaked it for 60 days!
I NEVER get 5 fruits & veggies & I don't exercise NEARLY as much as I should, and I NEVER count steps so I don't know how you'd translate my exercises into steps or pts.
With all that said, if you'll have me, I'll do my best...

I have met the 5 fruits and vegetables, 8 glasses of water, and 10,000 steps everyday. Also I have done the boot camp in fact I started over today with day 1 again and doing wall push ups every time I get up to do anything.

Sherry, you didn't gain anything, so I would take that as a win. :)

I was having a lot of trouble taking off weight when I started because I wasn't eating breakfast. I guess I had to get my metabolism going first thing in the a.m. I've never had a problem with not eating enough, I love food and have to watch everyday so I don't go over my calorie range.

If you meet your water goal: 1 pt
If you meet your food goal: 2 pts
If you meet your fitness goal: 2 pts

That's a total of 5 pts each day ! ! !

WATER - 8 glasses a day
FOOD - Eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables
FITNESS - try to walk at least 5000 steps each day ... that is almost 2 miles. This might be a nice time to plan a family walk.

Hi Shelley & Sherry. I know this challenge doesn't start until Friday, but I am not a procrastinator. I am the type of person that needs everything to be organized.

On Friday, we all need to post our weights to this thread.

Lynn will put out challenges everyday and we just do our best to stay within the guidelines. Hopefully we will all motivate each other throughout the month and all of us can be "Losers"

The whole idea here is to lose weight and have fun doing it ! ! ! If you have any suggestions or would like to add any challenges, please feel free to do so. I'm always up for anything.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you both better during this next month. :)
