I track when the darned thing will let me in.... Did a 20 min. walk both yesterday and today at lunch time. Hope to go for a walk or a bike ride in the morning before it gets hot...

I see this thread sort of died off. I have been trying to get my thirty minutes in every day. I am still having leg issues, mostly left ankle now, so I am not doing as much as I was, but I am trying to at least keep moving. I track every day on the exercise tracker, so I am doing my part for the team anyway!

Hi everyone ... I figured out how to add the exercise tracker to our team page. I'm not sure I set the goal high enough ... I figured out the minutes if 6 members work out for 30 minutes 6 days a week and rounded it up!

I really think I should have doubled that in hopes that we could interest more members to keep track of their exercise ... even if everyone can't exercise daily.

Good luck ... and let's make this challenge work!!!

Sunday I spent walking and walking and walking at the Cleveland Zoo with friends, family and GKs. I think we walked about 6 miles during the day, uphill and down, and up steps and down. I still hurt! Got all my water in, and then some. Yesterday I took the day off. We went to Salamanca, and most of the day was spent sitting. I did walk for an hour during the morning, and again for a while after we ate at the buffett. I ate a little of whatever I wanted, but as I look back, I didn't do too badly. Now to get back on track today..

I've had way more water than needed since Friday ... I think I've topped the water mark by 4-6 glasses each day!

Exercise is still the killer ... walked for 2 hours on Saturday ... strolled around daughter's yard during picnic yesterday ... but probably ate too much as I passed the food tables.

Today I've done about 15 minutes of cemetery gardening ... and plan to go back with dirt, plants and mulch this afternoon for another hour of planting etc.

lots a water, but very little exercise. I got my 30 minutes but I got 30 hobbily minutes. I think I overdid myself this week!

I got all my water in today, but instead of walking like I would have liked too, I stood and ironed for over 2 hours. Hopefully tomorrow...

Congrats on your new strategy Lynn, I am a firm believer in whatever works!

As for me, now that I have my lemon juice, I have no problem with the water. I drank probably 18 to 20 glasses today easy. I did get out for a walk, but my legs REALLY hurt today. I started out 2 weeks ago at about 3000 steps a day. Yesterday and Monday I had well over 10,000. Today I still managed to go about 6000, but I felt everyone of them!!

emoticon I did it ... I finally got back to Nautilus ... I actually feel pretty good too! I wasn't too sure how it would go ... by the end of my work day I'm usually exhausted and all I can think about is getting home, having dinner, and getting to bed.

I tried something different ... I had a long break today so I went then! My workout was 50 minutes and I feel pretty good so I think I'm going to try that strategy again. Then if we can get some people together to walk, I should be able to get at least 100 minutes of strength training, and 120 minutes of cardio exercise a week!

Doing real good on the water intake ... but not so good on the exercise. The only walking has been during work with the kids ... none on my own.
emoticon By the time I get home at 5:30/6, fix supper eat and clean up, it's usually around 8 p.m. and I'm ready for bed.

I have an extra long break today so I have my exercise clothes packed so I can do my strength training on my break. At least I'll have one day this week that I managed to fit this in!

Good Girls!! I'm proud of you both. I got all my water in today, but am so exhausted from the last 2 days that I didn't exercise at all. I HAVE to get with it again in the morning. Hope the weather is nice so I can walk outside. Keep it up. Sure wish we'd get some more people involved!!!

Went and bought some lemon juice, so I hit my water quota no problem. Just got lazy with the exercising this weekend. I did move some, but did not stick to my 5000 or more steps daily. I don't feel I've fallen off the boat completely, just needed a bit of a break!

I'm not very good at the daily check ins, but I have been doing it! I've gotten 10+ glasses of water the last few days and I made sure to walk atlease 30 minutes. Been too busy so I quit keeping track after I made the minumum. I'm at 9 glasses today and I got in my half hour walk this morning. Heading out for a run now. Have a good day everyone!

5 glasses of H2O so far, doesn't taste good today. Hiked 3 miles with both kids,so I met my exercise quota for the day as well. Will try to fit in another few glasses of water. Wish I had a lemon. Got on scale this morning and am down another 1.2 pounds since Monday so it is working!

I think this sounds like a good challenge ... just hope I can keep up my end of the bargain.

So far today I've had 5 glasses of water ... and while we are out tonight I'll probably have about 6 more. That will take care of today's quota!

As for the exercise ... I was walking all over the school today ... but that really doesn't count. I'll have to find some exercise time tomorrow morning before I head out to do the shopping.

My exercise routine was shattered when I got sick and it's really hard getting back into the swing of things. I'll just have to keep telling myself ...

5/15- ended up with 11 glasses or water, 30 minutes of walking and 15 minutes of legs. Thursdays are always tough on the scheduling. I'm running late from the time I get up until 9 pm.

5/16- 12 glasses so far, 30 min walking, 15 min jumping rope, 15 rebounding, 30 min swimsuit workouts.

I'm in, when does it start? I've got 10 glasses of water in today, and I walked for 30 min at lunch, but i'm also going to do 30 between a trampoline and a jump rope, and my swimsuit challenge workout, then some yoga. Did anyone else notice the lack of nice weather this afternoon? I had been hoping to go running tonight....it started raining right when i was leaving work. Anyway, GO TEAM!

Hi everyone, I'd like to post a team challenge, ending on July 4. Each day, team members who wish to join us, should drink 8 glasses of water, and do some form of exercise, for 30 min. six days a week. And post it! Let's shoot for 500 glasses of water per member taking the challenge. And yes, that means a couple days of drinking more than 8. Exercise can be strength, cardio, whatever. Even a nice brisk walk will count. If you're "in", post and let us know so we can start keeping track. Good luck! There are 525 members on this team.
